    University Community TransformationCentre (UCTC), UPM serves as thecoordinator for university communityprograms under the University ForSociety (U4S), Ministry of Education,Malaysia. It recognizes UPM as apremier facilitator for extensionactivities. Based on UPM's Strategic Plan2014-2020, UCTC UPM is responsible tolead UPM's 3rd Goal: Upscaling Industryand Community Engagement.

    International Training Programme for delegates from BangladeshGas Fields Co. Ltd. (BGFCL) in collaboration with strategic industrypartners; M Tech Services Sdn. Bhd., Petrobangla (subsidiarycompany under Ministry of Power, Energy and MineralResources, Bangladesh), Petroliam Nasional Berhad

    UCTC UPM in collaboration with the National Human Resources Development Council of SriLanka organized a Managerial Competency Development Programme (VIII) involving 27delegates.

  • UCTCcoordinates knowledge sharing programmes to Agrobankstaffs. APEX 1 was organized for three days providescomprehensive exposure on the basics of agriculture, comprisingof plantation, livestocks and aquaculture. The lectures anddemonstrations were delivered by experts from UPM andincluded visits to the farms at the University Agricultural Park(Taman Pertanian Universiti), UPM

    Agriculture Practical & Exposure (APEX 1)

  • UPM together with Perak State Veterinary ServicesDepartment via strategic partnership strengthensthe knowledge transfer programs from University tostakeholders (officers and livestock farmers) thatfocuses on theoretical and practical application inherd health programs of livestock, holistic wastewater and sanitation management of ruminant andpoultry livestock. All together 129 participantsparticipated with involvement of 15 UPM’s staffs and35 participants form the agency.

  • UCTC extends its community networking in Jitra,Kedah through the ‘Fast Track Hidroponics Fertigation’courses in collaboration with the Kelab Mesra IbadahHospital Jitra. A total of 53 participants attended thiscourse which was facilitated by UCTC officers.
