RECENT STEPS TO EXPANSION Apollo Tyres claims to be india’s biggest tyre maker. Company recently signed a techinical corperation
deal with AG. Apollo tyres is the 1st company to gain support from
international finance corporation . Groupe michelin and indias apollo tyres limited
agree to setup joint venture for radial truck tyres in india.
Michelin and Apollo will invest $17million for a period of four years.
Site is undisclosed to build a truck tyre planned . Looking for site in states of Maharastra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu
ACQUISITION In 2006 the company Dunlop Tyres
international of South Africa was acquired by Apollo Tyres LTD.
