Example 1: Descriptive

Strategy formulation can be defined as ‘…thedevelopment of long range plans for the effectivedevelopment of long‐range plans for the effectivemanagement of environmental opportunities and threats,in light of corporate strengths and weaknesses’ (Wheelang p g (& Hunger 1995, p9). It involves both long term and shortterm planning that must be flexible for changingcircumstances (Browne 2000).
