However, there is a typographical error in the title of PH rninutes issued by AppCB.However MinLrtes of Meeting of Public Hearing (1" Page) the date of PH is rnentioned correctlras 20.08.201 6.
Hence it is kindly requested to nullif,v the typographical error. As per the refbrence citedproposal is resubmitted to consider the project in the next EAC meeting.

Minutes of the Environmental Public Hearing in connection with the
Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (APIIC) has
proposed to establish an ,industrial Park near Gandrajupalle village,
Gangavaram Mandal, Chittoor District on 20.08.2015 at 10.00 a.m.
In accordance with the Notification No. S,O. 1533 dt, 14,09.2006 of Ministry of
Environment & Forests, Government of India, New Delhi, the Environmental
Engineer, Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Regional Office, Tirupati
issued a notification pertaining to the Environmental Public Hearing on the
Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure C<lrporation Ltd (APIIC) has proposed
to establish an industrial Park at an extent of 482.5L Acres near Gandrajupalle
village, Gangavaram Mandal, Chittoor District in leading newspapers inviting
suggestions, views, comments and objections of the general public and the
same was conducted on 20.08,2016 at 10.00 a,m and the minutes of the
meeting are as follows:
The following Officials attended the Environmental Public Hearing :
1) Sri. L.Vijaya Chander, District Revenue Officer &Additiona I District Mag istrateChittoor District and Chairman of theEnvironmental Public Hearinq Panel.

The Environmental Engineer, A.P.Pollution Control Board,
Tinupati welcomed the District Revenue Officer & Additional District
Magistrate, (Chairman of the Environmental Public Hearing Panel) and general
public to the Public hearing and explained the need to conduct Public Hearing
for the project as per the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt, of India,
New Delhi notification 2006.
He also explained as per the Terms of Reference (TOR), State Level
Environmental Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Ministry of Environment.& Forest,
Govt. of India, Dated: 10,t2.20L5 it is necessary to get the public hearing
conducted for this project and to take further necessary action for obtaining the
Environment Clearance in accordance with the procedure prescribed under the
EiA Notification 2006.
He requested the District Revenue Officer, Chittoor and Chairman of the
Environmental Public Hearing Panel to conduct the proceedings of the Public
Hearing, ' ,''
The District Revenue Olficer welcomgd the gathering and requested
the proponent of the industry to explain the sa!1e1t,f9,4tures of the proposed
project for the information of general public gathered at the venue of
Environment Public Hearinq.
Sri G. Seshagiri Rao, Asst. Manager, M/s. Ramky Enviro
Engineers Ltd of the proposed project explained on behalf of the proponent
of the project that the proposed project is an industrial park of an extent of
L95.27 Ha with a proposed project cost of Rs 96.5 Crores. He also informed
that they have collected base line data from 10 km radius around the project
site to assess the impacts arising from the proposed industrial activities. The
observed pollutants were within the limits as per National Ambient Air Quality
Standards (NAAQS).''..
Regarding, water consumption and wastewater generation, the water
requirement for the proposed prrlject is 3,5 MLD. The primary source of the
water is from K,cundinya River. Industry proposed to establish wastewater
treatment facilities to treat the wastewater generated from the industrial park
of 1.5 MLD CETP and 0,5 CSTP.
The proposed project is to invest an amount of Rs 1283 Lakhs towards
Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and on Environmental Mitigation
Measures i.e, I0o/o of the recurring cost and also 1% of the total project cost
i.€, 12 Lakhs is earmarked towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Activities. He also informed that overall assessment of the impacts in terms of
positive & negative effects on various Environmental Compounds, that the
project activities the project will not affect on the surrounding environment.
Due to the establishment of the proposed project it will, improve socio
economic status of the surrounding peoprle by providing huge employment
opportunities.
Then The District Revenue Officer, Chittoor and the chairman of the
Public Hearing Panel requested the general public to express their opinions/
suggestions, objections, if any, on the proposed project, so as to record the
same and will send to the MoEF,Gol,Delhi for taking necessary action.
Sri V. Rajanna, r/o, Gandrajupalli, President, Ambedkar
Sangham while welcoming the project he requested to provide good number
of job opportunities to the local people and also requested to solve the land
issues with suitable compensation to the surrounding farmers,
Sri Khaleefa, rlo Lakkinapalli while speaking on the occasion
brought the following to the notice clf public hearing panel for kind
consideration,
1. Suitable jobs shall provide to the land losers during acquisition.
2. Proposed industrial pal'k has to develop like Sri City by taking utmost
care with regard to Environment by developing 33o/o ol'the greenbelt.
3. Under any circumstances, wastewater from the industries shall not leave
in to the Kuppam Kaluva (canal).

4. Solid waste generated from the industries shall not be dumped in the
surrounding agricultural lands,
5. Proper facilities slrall be provided to the workers working in the industrial
Park.
Sri. B. Venkateswarlu, rlo Ganlrajupalli while speaking on the
occasion have informed that all the 76 houses of ,!is
village has given land to
the industrial park. He expressed his un-happinQsg on the job opportunities
getting by the villagers in the existing industries and requested to provide good
number of jobs at least in upcoming industries.
Sri. Yella ppa, r lo Gandrajupalle, have also requested to provide jobs
to the local public and land losers and also requested to provide house sites for
construction of houses.
Mr. Ravi Kumar, NGO, Hyderabad Welcomed the project and
stressed the importance of the industrialization for all around development of
the country. He also remembered the respohsibility of regulatory bodies viz,
Pollution Control Board to monitor thei"ihdustries to operate within ther_-; ii: | :, , ,.:,.':i!. r
standards stipulated in the interest of EnVironment'& Public Health.:': :,rl'i' ,'"
He also appealed the management to take-up development programs at
surrounding villages with CSR funds and to conduct skill development programs
to the local public to get job opportunities.
Then The District Revenue Officer, Chittoor and Chairman of the
Environ.mental Public Hearing Panel while speaking on the occasion the
project and stressed the importance of the industrialization for all around
development of the country. He also informed that now a days agriculture
sector is not a profitable sector comparatively. He requested the management
to allow less polluting industries in the ifldustrial park without causing any
Environmental Damage. He also stressed the importance of the greenbelt
deVelopmeht and ieQuested the manaQement to take up the actiVily in a big
way. He assured that every land loser will be paid compensation as per norms.
He also requested the management to provide good number of jobs to the local
public.
Sri Radha Krishnaiah, r I o Nalla "ilhummaipalli has brought some of
the land alienation issues i.e., 60 acres of larnd is under violation category and.7
acres of land declared as poramboku and requested the Chairman of the Public
Hearing panel to address the problems related to the above, and to pay
suitable compensation to the beneficiaries.l
Meanwhile The District Revenue Officer, Chitioor and Chairman
of the Environmental Public Hearing Panel intervened and requested the
villagers to give a representation on the land related issues and they will be
solved as per the procedures of the Government. He also informed that
compensation will be paid to the land losers of highway widening project,
Finally, The Zonal Manager, APllIC, Tirupati while answering the
concerns of the public has explained the following.
i. Justice will be done tp the violation causes in co-ordination with the
District Adm inistration.
Priority will be given to the local public for providing jobs in up-coming
projects based on their qualification.
All Environmental norms will be followed strictly.
Then The District Revenue Officer, Chittoor and Chairman of the
Environrnental Public Hearing Panel while summed up of the proceedings
of the Environmental Public Hearing in vernacular language and he assured the
public, that all the opinions/views raised by the public during Environmental
public Hearing will be brought to the notice of State Level Environmental
Assessment Authority (SEIAA).

Revenue Officer, Chittoor and Chairman of the Environmental Public Hearing
with a positive note and the Environmental Public Hearing was concluded with
