preparation
Before use• Wash the lid, rice bowl, steam bowls, juice collector, tank and removable turbo ring with
warm soapy water.• Rinse and dry.
Put the steam cooker in place• Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface, away from any objects that could be
damaged by steam. The appliance must be horizontal.• Put the turbo ring in position around the heating element.• Pour in water up to the interior water level corresponding to the desired cooking time.
Example: pour in up to 40 min. level for 40 minutes cooking time.Interior and exterior levels are equivalents.
• Place the juice collector flat on the base.
Put the steam bowls into place• Place the food in the bowl(s).• Put the lid onto the bowl.• Place the steam bowl(s) on the base.• The steam bowls can be assembled in any order.
For cooking rice. Put the rice bowl into place• Place a steam bowl on the base.• Put one volume of rice to one volume and a half of water into the rice bowl (maximum
300 grams of rice).• Put the rice bowl into the steam bowl.• Put the lid onto the bowl.
For cooking eggs• Place the eggs in the integrated egg supports provided for this purpose.
Do not
immerse the tank.
Do not use
any seasoning or
liquid other than
water in the tank.
It is possibleto put different foodsinto each steam bowl.You should ensure thatthe flavourscomplement each other.
We advisethat you place largerfoods or those requiringa longer cooking time inthe lower bowl.
Check that
the appliance is
correctly assembled
before use. Use only
containers specially
designed for this
appliance.

Start cooking• Plug in.• Put the on/off switch into the I position (only for models 6158 and 6159).
Aquatimer® - During cooking• The on indicator light lights up, and steam cooking begins.• The exterior water Aquatimer® level allows the presence of water and the remaining
cooking time to be checked.
Aquatimer® - At the end of cooking time• The Aquatimer® ensures that your appliance will automatically stop cooking whenever no
more water is present.• A ringing sound indicates the end of cooking time. The on indicator light goes off.• Put the on/off switch into the o position (for models 6158 and 6159).• Unplug.
Serve• Remove the steam bowl using a cloth or oven gloves.• Place it on a plate or on the upturned lid.
• If you have used the rice bowl, remove it carefully, with oven gloves, holding it by thesides.
• Serve.
cleaning and maintenance• Once the appliance has completely cooled down, empty the tank and clean it with soapy
water.• Carefully wash plastic accessories. They are dishwasher safe.• Clean the turbo ring regularly, particularly the water inlet.• Certain food juices may stain the plastic - this is normal.
Descaling• Fill the water tank with white vinegar to the 50 min. interior level mark. Do not use other
descaling products.• Plug in. Only the tank should be used during this operation.• If the vinegar boils over, unplug the appliance.• When the appliance rings, unplug and wait for it to cool down before emptying out the
remaining vinegar.• Rinse the tank with clear water several times.
Never connect
the appliance when
there is no water in
the tank.
Do not handle
the bowls during
cooking. Wait until
after the cooking has
finished before
adding water.
Your
appliance remains
connected to the
power supply and
rings intermittently
while it is
connected.
Before
removing the juice
collector, wait until
the juice and the
appliance have
cooled down.
Do not use
abrasive cleaning
products or sponges.
For short
cooking times
(10-20 minutes)
descale the heating
element properly
before beginning the
cooking process.
After usingyour appliance 7 to 10 times, descalethe appliance.
