The development at Hidd Al Jamal, is a proposed mixed use master planned community located on the Amwaj highway, adjacent to Durrat Al Bahrain. It proposes a new benchmark by bringing together leisure and residential space, hotels and retail facilities into an integrated whole. The project area is 1,513,200 sq.mts and challenges previous philosophies of development dependent on car usage and,instead, develops an urban network that is, first and foremost,designed and is responsive to the needs of people.

To coordinate with internal resources and management team for the flawless execu-tion of projects.
To develop 2D architectural drawings, 3D digital modelsand coordinate with interna-tional third party rendering consultants to achieve realistic views.
To develop subdivision plans, area calculations, and do several modifications to reach the required efficiency and targeted sale able area percentage as per the Urban Planning Authority.
Coordinate directly with senior project managers, prepare reports and presentations for the clients.
Participate in the project coordination and develop-ment meetings with the third party consultants.

This educational project was my final year design disserta-tion along with participation in an open competition proposed by the TamilNadu Industrial Development Cooperation (TIDCO).The project was completed in a period of one year, dedicating six months to the in-depth research study, followed by the other six months for design and presentation.
The project scope of works included extensive research on the topic, brand study, feasibility study, on-site visit, case studies, concept design, building technology, building services, layout preparation, 3D digital and physical model development.
My background knowledge of informatics and creative designing skills helped me develop an architectural idea, amalgamating art, and technology.

From the beginning of design, technology was at the core idea; hence circuit board was the metaphor for the master plan. Auto desk Revit was used to prepare and render the 3D walk throughs, bird's eye view, and street view.
The conceptual design was further enhanced and nurtured using digital media skills like Google sketch up and Auto CAD. The final drawings were further refined and made presentable using advanced professional software like Adobe Photo-shop and Illustrator.

It is surrounded by conglomeration of massive development with a perfect blend of Traditional and Modern Architecture.

This educational project was my fourth-year design assignment for the client, TAJ group of hotels. The project was completed in a period of six months, dedi-cating three months to the in-depth research study, followed by the other three months for design and presentation.
The challenge of the assign-ment was to create a struc-ture that was not only an iconic landmark but a struc-ture that was a blend of user experience and geometry.
A lot of time was put into research and analysis was put into understanding the end user experience and developing a geometry adding character to the structure.
The geometry was developed based on hexagonal honey-comb architecture where the every user gets an over-whelming panoramic view of the city.

The right choice of geometry also helped in creating a structural system which added more durability along with the real aesthetic look.During the designing of the roof of the structure, it was difficult to understand and make a 3D physical model. The digital media skill sets helped me to create a digital 3D dome and meet the structural requirements.
The drawings and presenta-tion were prepared using Google sketch up, Auto desk Revit and presentations were composed in Photoshop and Illustrator
