This January has been a very very cdd hard winter but Spring i§

trying to get here and we can-t walt for血is srm皿er・ Since our last

Spring mecting, a COmmittee was fomed and copies were made

available at皿e Fall meeting (old and new version§ Of血e b㌦aws)

and were posted on Biglake書0亜ne章You can contact Doug Sa華yer

w珊any input, questions or to get a copy of血e tylaws. Doug’s

phone脚mber is 26o-691-004O. We will be voting for approval of

粗e updated切daws at our Spring meeting.

contract with Washlers for Big Lake members. They are血e only

disposal company也at handles bo馳ga血age and reeydal)les. O町

1ake is an investment and your dues help us keep this asset a pos王tive

inve§tment for you andぬe rest of血e propeヰy ormerS.

W七received new s血℃am teSting sup】坤es. We now have six廿ained

poo亘le to test也e incoming streams into our lcke. Anyone interested

in being a lake tester, Please contact David Sm池at 26o-2之9-7868.

k廠year, tes血g of Crane Lcke and Green Lake had high levels of

nitrogen given to hard raius and runo節from famers’宜dds. This

was noted and resolved.

We have applied for a 501(3)(c) nonpro紐ra瞳ng. This will give us

more access to state grants rather血an just be血g a regular

nonprofit o喝anization. If we beoome a 5Ol(3)(c) onganiz証on, We

WOn’t have to pay income tax on grants. It would also open us up to

receiving donations from businesses and the businesses血en daim

that don2臆on as a tax deductiom Dave Smi血wⅢ have more

information at our Spring meeting.

Replacement of lake buoys wi11 take place in the Spring. Jim

Byenine and I are ge砥ng the two buoys血at are needed. We need

VOlunteers to hdp remove也e dd haoys and put in newbueys in也e
