including office’s furniture to be carried out on a specified date and place. Hanim who

intended to purchase office’s furniture went to the place on that particular day but she

found that Faruk has withdrawn the items from the auction. Hanim then claimed damages

for breach of contract. She argued that the advertisement was a proposal of which she has

accepted.
