The programme provides students with a broad-based education in basic sciences including chemistry, biology and physics, and the skills necessary to apply science and mathematics knowledge to solve problems.
STEM EducationPrepare students with competencies in the four disciplines: Science, Technology, Engi-neering, and Mathematics to align with worldwide trends in both education and employment.
Practical Skills Acquire practical skills in laboratory procedures, and in the measurement, analysis and interpretation of data.

Admission RequirementsApplicants should satisfy one of the following:
• Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)
• Level 2 or above in five HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language and English Language;
• A maximum of two Applied Learning subjects graded “Attained” or above can be included for meeting the requirement.
• Completion of the CCCU Diploma in General Studies programme or a one-year full-time Pre-Associate Degree programme.
• Grade E or above in one General Certificate of Education A-level (or A2)/International A-Level subjects. Two Advanced Subsidiary (AS)
level subjects will be considered equivalent to one GCE A-Level. The same subject may not be counted at both the A Level and AS Level.
• International Baccalaureate Diploma, completion of Grade 12 at local international schools or non-local high schools or other equivalent
qualifications are also accepted as satisfying the entrance requirements.
• Aged 23 or above by September 1 of the year of admission.
Further Studies
Programme Curriculum
This programme will be offered by CCCU from 2017/18 onwards. The first batch of graduates is expected in 2019 and, hence, there is no articulation track record at this stage. In 2016, 83% of the graduates of the Division surveyed have pursued further studies, of which 58% have been admitted to UGC-funded degree progammes.
Graduates who wish to pursue further studies may be granted entry into Science degree programmes like Applied Science, Applied Biology, Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry Technology, Testing Science, Food Science, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, Energy Science, Physics and Applied Physics, and Mathematics in City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University.
