Maximum weight per shelf capacity

Atacama has a recommended weight capacity for each

shelf, however due to the modular system that we use in

construction this can sometimes be exceeded. Please consult

your Atacama stockist for assistance.

Isolation spike and cone interface

All Atacama speaker stands and all modular equipment

supports use spikes and cones for isolation purposes. It is

recommended that spike shoes are used to protect delicate

floor coverings.

Sonically dampened inner shelf

The inner shelf panel is supported on an outer sub frame via

ASIST discs.

Genesis Reference 7.0 HiFi SupportThe Genesis Reference 7.0 is the ultimate Atacama HiFi rack for when only the best will do! Starting

with a base module, up to five further shelf modules can be added with a choice of 245mm, 195mm

or 145mm heights allowing plenty of flexibility when configuring for a specific storage requirement.

In order to give maximum performance, each module consists of a sonically dampened inner shelf

panel supported within an outer sub frame via mini ASIST pads. To reduce vibration through the

rack a dampening membrane has been interfaced between the inner and outer shelves and each

leg is fitted with two ASIST gaskets as well as using a spike to cone interface thus maximising its sonic

characteristics. This multi-layered system of isolation and vibration dampening results in an extremely

low sound transmission class rating when compared to more traditionally made glass and wood

equipment supports.

Cut and machined in the UK from specially imported carbon treated bamboo resin

composite panels, each shelf is sculptured, hand finished and oiled to give a natural,

superior, high quality finish.

All our bamboo is sourced from forests where the fully grown trees mature over 7 years

(10 times faster than most hardwoods). Once the tree is harvested, the plant continues

growing making it highly sustainable.

Due to this high growth rate bamboo absorbs large quantities of CO2, which even when

allowing for processing and shipping, makes bamboo a carbon neutral product.

The ATACAMA ELITE ECO 6.0 is a specialist oversized single component width modular HiFi equipment support made from carbon treated bamboo

resin composite. This high density carbonised bamboo gives significant major sonic qualities when compared to traditional hardwood and veneered

supports, with its unique micro growth pore structure offering both vibration absorbing and sound dampening properties. Each module is cut, finished

and then polished by hand at the UK based Atacama factory giving this rack a stylish, modern appearance. The rear of each module tapers in for easy

corner positioning should this be required, while the powercord isolation cable management loop located at the rear of each module is designed to

keep mains leads together and away from sensitive signal cables.

Starting with a base module, up to five further isolated shelf modules can be added using any combination of pre-cut 265mm, 175mm or 125mm leg

lengths. If you wish to add modules with custom leg lengths, they can be made to order as a cost option.

ERIS ECO 5.0 HiFi SUPPORT

Featuring high density carbonised bamboo resin composite material for the shelving, the Eris ECO 5.0 HiFi utilises handmade fully welded powder

coated steel frame modules fitted with mini isolation gel pads designed to decouple the framework from the supported bamboo panels. Each module

is then isolated from the next via three fully adjustable 8mm carbon steel spikes. To help further dissipate sonic resonance whilst reducing mass within

each shelf, channels have been incorporated into the underside of each bamboo panel. These channels also act as a means of enclosing the main

module framework resulting in a HiFi support that offers excellent value, high performance and a clean, stylish modern design.

Starting with a two shelf base module with a storage space height of 200mm, up to three further single shelf modules can be added using any

combination of 175mm or 125mm leg heights to meet your storage requirement.

Each of the 500 limited edition two shelf base modules are hand made on blueprinted

assembly frames, personally inspected by a senior craftsmen and serial numbered to

prove authenticity. Available exclusively in Gloss Black (standard Atacama colours can

be specified), this support offers improved aerospace grade aluminium isolation spike

and cone interface, ASIST technology and internal dampened leg columns as well as

improved weight capacity. A.R.C. glass can be added as a option to give maximum sonic

performance.

plate is required. Adjustable heavy duty carpet spikes are supplied

as standard, with the facility to add top spikes as an option. There

are 7 different heights and 4 colours available to suit a wide range of

The brief was to design a speaker stand like nothing that had come before. It had to be able to compliment the latest speakers whilst co-ordinating

with modern home interiors. It needed to have a designer style and still meet the demands of the audio enthusiast. Most importantly, it needed to

appeal to those who feel that speaker stands should add interest to a room, not detract from it.

So Atacama developed Aurora 6. The column is manufactured from a clear acrylic cylinder, whilst the toughened glass base plate is shaped like a

tear drop. Cable management has been incorporated via the central chrome torsion tube allowing the speaker cable to be concealed, and sound

dampening Atacama Isolation Gel pads are fitted as standard to the top plate. Atacama have also developed the A.S.I.S.T. Gasket (Atacama Sonic

Isolation System Technology), one of which is fitted to each end

of the Aurora acrylic cylinder. The A.S.I.S.T. Gasket eliminates

resonance within the main column and also provides a secure

interface for the top and base plates. The aesthetics of the Aurora

are also clear to see from first glance. The acrylic column can be

filled with just about anything you can think of, (with the exception

of liquids or living things). The possibilities to colour co-ordinate

with the surrounding dcor are endless and once you get tired

of the filling you have, you simply remove it and replace with

something else. To help, we have made available a range of

Atabite Premium filler especially designed to fill Aurora speaker

stands. This dampening filler is specifically designed to improve

the sonic performance.

ATACAMA HD-S & HD-L Floor Spike ShoesAtacama High Density spike shoes are made of a copper /zinc alloy construction and features an indentation on the upper surface to locate the spike and on its lower surface, a non slip E.P.D.M. elastomer membrane designed to protect delicate floor coverings and aid sound dampening. Each spike shoe has a diameter of 20mm (HD-S) and 25mm (HD-L), making the HD-S best suited to small and medium sized speaker stands, HD-L suitable for most large speaker stands and HiFi rack applications with an overall maximum weight spread over all four shoes of 70kg (HD-S),125kg (HD-L). They are available in a choice of two colours, Satin Black or Nickel Silver.
