The combustion takes place in a furnace designed to allow for perfect burner combustion, asuitable temperature within the furnace and a thermal charge within the limits of the mostused international design codes.The circulation of the gases is carried out through a pressure-rise in the furnace and due tothe generators design the gases circulate uniformly and at same speed through the pipesallowing for a constant cession of heat.

Radiation and convection surfaces are designed so that the efficiency is the same whichever of typeof fuel is used. Resistant fast-opening doors allow access to the furnace and fireboxes. The doors are insulated with ceramic fibers and the boiler is wrapped in rockwool protected bySTAINLESS steel plating. The steam boiler is provided with a manhole which allows for a clear vision of the bodys interior

during cleaning and inspection.

RL BOILERS - optional equipment

The standard model is equipped with onevertical feed water pump Grundfos withstainless steel impeller, shaft seal and pumphousing and on/off control.

As an option the boiler can be supplied withone or two electronic pumps for modulatingfeeding (necessary when an economizer isinstalled).

Desalting device:Desalting device with automatic regulationand control, with TDS control by continuousreadout of the boiler water conductivity. Itdrives the opening of the draining valve,realizing only the necessary blowdownoperations and controlling the correct boilerwater salinity without unnecessary waterconsumption. Automatic blowdown:Automatic sludge blowdown withprogrammable setting up of the blowingdown time and the interval timebetween them.Thanks to the automatic blowdown theboiler is blown down regularly and itavoids sludge deposits caused bymanual maintenance oversight.

ATTSU boilers in solar plants

2 RL-600 kg/h at 8 barg to ensure the operation of a solar thermal plant inAndalucia (PTS Guzmn).

Equipped with a redundant Siemens PLC, which allows remote access to the

settings. Touch screen makes it user friendly and easier to operate.

The boilers also incorporate an electric heater, ensuring up to 290 C

adjustable steam temperature operating at low or maximum, necessary for

the smooth operation of the solar plant .

The economizer (ECO) is designed torecover exhaust heat from Boiler exhaustgases, and transfer this to the incomingBoiler feed water before it is introduced tothe boiler itself, thus increasing the overallBoiler Thermal Efficiency. The economizer consists of compactequipment manufactured from a finnedtube fitted at the flue gases outlet and the
