SAM’S  AUTOBOT  SOCIAL  STORY  ON  FOLLOWING  DIRECTIONS    

   Autobots  want  Sam  to  go  to  school  and  learn  new  things.      Autobots  also  want  Sam  to    • make  good  choices    • follow  directions,  and  • complete  his  work.  

     

   Sometimes  the  teacher  may  tell  you  to  do  something  you  do  not  want  to  do.    It  may  upset  you.      Optimus  Prime  says,  “It  is  NOT  Ok  to  • yell  • cry  •  lay  on  the  floor  or    • kick    

when  you  do  not  get  your  way.  “    

 When  asked  to  do  something  by  an  adult,  Autobots    1. Look  them  in  the  eye  2. Say  OK!  3. Do  it  and  check  back
