III.2 PROSEDUR PERCOBAAN

III.2.1 Langkah-langkah untuk teori Momen Inersia

1. Mengukur massa ring dan disk menggunakan mass balance.

2. Mengukur massa dari beban menggunakan mass balance.

3. Mengukur diameter Ring disk kemudian menghitung R1, R2, dan R.

III.2.2 Langkah-langkah untuk metode percobaan eksperimen/praktek

1. Letakkan ring dan disk diatas rotary motion sensor, untuk mendapatkan

percepatan sudut pada percobaan, kombinasi tersebut di beri beban 20g pada

hanger.

2. Pada saat Hanger bergerak ke bawah tekan tombol start ( ) pada Xplorer

GLX dan tekan kembali ( ) sebelum Hanger berhenti.

3. Lihat grafik kecepatan vs waktu. Kemudian lihat nilai slopenya.

4. Nilai Slope pada grafik adalah nilai percepatan sudut, catat nilai slope tersebut

di tabel data.

5. Ulangi prosedur (1) - (4) dengan menambahkan beban 5 gram.

6. Hilangkan ring pada sistem Rotasi, ulangi prosedur percobaan ini dengan

hanya disk pada Rotari motion sensor.

III.2.3 Menentukan percepatan sudut pada rotary motion sensor

Untuk melakukan percobaan ini, hilangkan Ring dan disk pada sistem

Rotasi sehingga hanya menyisakan sensor saja. Ulangi langkah pertama pada

prosedur (B) untuk sensor saja. Perhatikan bahwa Hanya diperlukan beban 5 g

saja pada percobaan ini.
