Bangladesh Dear Ms. Burns,
I just got to my grandma’s house. I am going on a riksha and wearing salwar kameez. These are our traditional clothing. They have beautiful jewels and patterns on them. My mom has bought so many salwar kameez outfits for me.
For breakfast we have forita with egg. This is delicious
dish. During the summer we fast and have to pray five times a day.
This is the our flag and we take pride in our country. 0ur
flag is very simple but I still love it. If a person complements me and doesn’t say
“mashallah”, I get ‘cursed’. Every sunset if that happens you, you cry and sometimes have a stomach ache. A person called a hujur
gives you something special and you are not cursed anymore.
Yours truly, Maherah Chowdury
