Cash Management

CashManagement

Global Cash Management

TradeFinance

An international Internet banking service for corporate clients with growing global businesses. It offers a variety of capabilities, such as balance and transaction confirmation and domestic and overseas remittances in a high-security environment. It also provides services for the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).

Host Connection

This service connects the client’s system to that of MUFG via host connection channels such as SWIFT or Internet VPN for MUFG accounts around the globe, enabling our clients to achieve centralized operation of accounts payable and management of bank account statements in a secure and efficient manner.

Trade Finance

Cash Flow Forecasting

This service collects group-wide account balances and deposit and withdrawal information to provide cash reports that can be analyzed by region, currency, company or other attributes. It aggregates payment and collection schedules for each group, supporting group-wide cash flow management.

Pooling

Every business day, clients’ positive balances (excess funds) at subsidiary accounts are transferred to a master account, and negative balances are automatically funded by the master account. This improves capital efficiency. MUFG provides cross-border pooling in addition to domestic pooling in each country.

Online Foreign Exchange Contracts

This service enables the conclusion and confirmation of foreign exchange contracts through the Internet. It achieves streamlining of clients’ foreign currency operations and secure transactions in an advanced security environment.

Netting

A netting calculation function usable over the Internet with 48 currencies. It makes it possible to reduce fees and administration by netting receivables and payables held by each group company.

Accounts Receivable Reconciliation

This service enables the easy identification of payers using a unique virtual account number that is added to accounts receivable payment data. It also streamlines accounts receivable reconciliation operations through automatic matching with invoice data.

Export Services

In addition to traditional services such as export bill collection, L/C notification and export bill purchase with L/C, we also help clients hedge risks associated with exports and improve financial efficiency by offering a diverse menu of services, including L/C confirmation, forfaiting and accounts receivable finance.

Import Services

We offer import services such as L/C issuance and standby L/C issuance with reliable administrative quality. Our high credit strength and global network provides powerful support for our clients’ businesses.

Vendor Finance

By purchasing receivables made out to our clients from vendors, MUFG supplies new sources of financing to vendors. In addition, we are gradually expanding convenient Web-based front systems to more countries.

TSU/BPO (Trade Service Utility/Bank Payment Obligation)

This inter-bank trade data matching system offered by SWIFT reduces the burden and cost of our clients’ routine administrative work by computerizing import and export transactions, while at the same time offering trade finance utilizing BPO function.

Products & ServicesWe offer total products and services that meet the needs of global corporations with simple access.

The monozukuri (manufacturing craftsmanship) that Japan is so proud of has produced world-leading products and services in transaction banking as well. We deliver a full lineup of products with easy access that meet the business needs of our customers to provide comprehensive support for their global business.
