Conclusiones: Bazedoxifeno y el futuro de los SERMs
1. SERMs han provado ser efectivos como agentes antiresortivos y protejen el esqueleto y previenen de fracturas
2. Bazedoxifeno ha demostrado un excelente protección del
hueso y la DMO en animales con un efecto neutral en endometrio y mama
3. Para encontrar un nuevo objetivo (i.e. protección osea y
sintomas menopausicos), bazedoxifeno ha sido emparejado con los estrogenos conjugados (TSEC).
