Kurze Einführung

1. Bluetooth kabellose KommunikationstechnologieBluetooth ist ein Standard für die nahe Reichweite von kabelloser Kommunikati-onstechnologie, die von Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Nokia und Toshiba eingeführt wurde. Durch die Bluetooth Technologie kann man die höchste Übertragungsgeschwin-digkeit zwischen Mobiltelefonen, Computern, Druckern, PDAs und anderen Gerä-ten erreichen. Der maximale Übertragungsbereich der Klasse II ist 10 Meter, der maximale Übertragungsbereich der Klasse I kann bis zu 100 Metern erreichen.

2. Über alphatronicsSound 4alphatronicsSound 4 ist ein Bluetooth Stereo Headset. Durch das faltbare und wieder auseinanderziehbare Design ist das Headset einfach zu transportieren. Es unterstützt die folgenden Bluetooth Profile:

HSP —— Headset Profil

HFP —— Frei-Hand Profil

A2DP—— Advanced Audio Distribution Profile

AVRCP——Audio/Video Remote Control Profile

Sie können Ihre Musik kabellos genießen. Es gibt folgende Funktionen:

1) Pairing mit einem Bluetooth Mobiltelefon oder PDA durch HFP Profil Unterstützung.• Einen Anruf annehmen, beenden und ablehnen• Wiederwahl der letzten Nummer• Sprachwahl

• Anpassen der Lautstärke• Anrufumleitung von Mobiltelefon auf Headset• Stummschaltung des Mikrofons

2) Pairing mit einem Bluetooth Mobiltelefon oder Bluetooth Sender der das A2DP Profil unterstützt.• Kabellos Musik genießen• Anpassen der Lautstärke• Pause/play über Fernbedienung• Nächster/vorheriger Titel über Fernbedienung

3) Einfaches Umschalten zwischen Anruf und Musik, Sie verpassen keinen eingehenden Anruf während des Musikhörens.

4) Beim Einschalten des Headsets, verbindet es sich automatisch mit dem Gerät mit dem es zuletzt verbunden war.

Hinweis: Um die oben genannten Funktionen durchführen zu können, müssen die Bluetooth Profile der gekoppelten Geräte gleich sein. Und auch in diesem Fall, kann es sein, dass die Bedienfunktionen auf Grund unterschiedlicher Spezifika-tionen anders durchgeführt werden müssen (informieren Sie sich in der entspre-chenden Bedienungsanleitung).

2. Aufladen des HeadsetsDas Headset enthält einen eingebauten wieder aufladbaren Akku, vor dem ersten Gebrauch muss dieser komplett geladen werden.

Wenn die Leistung nachlässt gibt das Headset drei “Dong” Töne aus und die rote LED Anzeige blinkt. Bitte laden Sie in diesem Fall den Akku des Headsets auf.

2. Pairing des Headsets mit Bluetooth Geräten

1) Aktivieren des Pairing Modus

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Headset ausgeschaltet ist und betätigen und halten Sie die MFT 5-6 Sekunden bis die rote und die blaue LED Anzeige abwechselnd blinken

Hinweis: Der Pairing Vorgang dauert ca. 2 Minuten. Kann nach dieser Zeit kein Gerät angeschlossen werden, kehrt das Gerät automatisch in den Standby Modus zurück.

2) Pairing des Headsets mit einem Bluetooth SenderVor der erstmaligen Verwendung des Headsets müssen Sie es mit einem Bluetooth fähigen Sender koppeln. Das Kopplungsverfahren ist abhängig von den verschiedenen Sendern oder Mobiltelefonen. Bitte informieren Sie sich in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Gerätes. Die allgemeinen Verfahrensschritte funktionieren folgendermaßen:

1. Headset und Sender müssen sich in einer Reichweite von 1 Meter befinden;2. Aktivieren Sie den Pairing Modus Ihres Headsets(Lesen Sie dazu Punkt 2 in

der Bedienungsanleitung);3. Aktivieren Sie die Bluetooth Funktion Ihres Senders und wählen Sie in der

angezeigten Liste der in Reichweite gefundenen Geräte “alpha4”;4. Geben Sie dann das Passwort oder die PIN Nummer “0000” ein; Manche

Geräte verbinden sich auch automatisch ohne PIN Abfrage.5. Wenn Sie Ihr Sender auffordert die Eingabe zu bestätigen, wählen Sie “Ja”

(diese Vorgehensweise variiert bei den verschiedenen Geräten);6. Nach erfolgreichem Verbinden, blinkt die blaue LED Anzeige zweimal alle 4

Sekunden.

Hinweise:

• Falls dies nicht beim ersten Mal funktionieren sollte, schalten Sie bitte das Headset aus und wiederholen Sie die 6 Schritte wie oben beschrieben.

• Nach dem erfolgreichen Koppeln, erkennen sich die beiden Geräte bei jeder Nutzung wieder und müssen nicht erneut gekoppelt werden. Das Headset kann 8 gekoppelte Geräte speichern, sollte sich diese Anzahl erhöhen, wird das erste Gerät ersetzt.

• Jedes Mal wenn das Headset eingeschaltet wird, verbindet es sich automa-tisch mit dem zuletzt gekoppelten Gerät. Möchten Sie es mit einem anderen Gerät koppeln, deaktivieren Sie zuerst die Bluetooth Funktion des zuletzt gekoppelten Geräts und wiederholen Sie die 6 Bedienungsschritte wie oben beschrieben.

3) Koppeln des Headsets mit einem Bluetooth SenderSie können das Headset mit einem Bluetooth Sender verbinden, um kabellos Musik zu hören. Als Beispiel BA1 (Bluetooth Sender Aufrüstmodul, nicht im Lieferumfang). Die Schritte des Kopplungsprozesses funktionieren folgendermaßen:

1. Das Headset und Ihr BA1 sollten sich beim Pairingprozeß in einer Reichweite von 1 Meter befinden;

2. Aktivieren Sie den Pairing Modus Ihres Headsets (bitte lesen Sie dazu oben angegebene Anleitung);

3. Schalten Sie den Bluetooth Sender ein und aktivieren Sie ebenfalls den Pairing Mo-dus, der automatisch nach Bluetooth Geräten sucht und Pairing Anfragen schickt.

4. Wenn das Headset Sie auffordert eine PIN Nummer einzugeben, wird der Sender automatisch “0000” übertragen;

5. Nach erfolgreichem Koppeln und Verbinden, blinkt die LED Anzeige zweimal alle 4 Sekunden.

Hinweise:

• Das Pairing Passwort des alphatronicsSound 4 ist “0000”. Deshalb kann das Headset sich nur mit einem Bluetooth Sender verbinden dessen Pairing Passwort ebenfalls “0000” ist.

• Falls das Pairing auch nach mehreren Versuchen fehlschlägt, suchen Sie bitte in der Anleitung des Bluetooth Senders nach weiteren Informationen.

4) Pairing von Headsets mit Multi-GerätenDas Headset kann maximal mit zwei weiteren Bluetooth Geräten verbunden werden. Wenn Sie das Multi-Pairing durchführen wollen, folgen Sie diesen Bedienungsschritten:

1. Als Erstes, koppeln und verbinden Sie das Headset mit dem ersten Bluetooth Gerät (lesen Sie hierzu den Punkt “Koppeln des Headsets mit einem Mobilte-lefon);

2. Schalten Sie das Headset aus und aktivieren Sie nach dem erneuten Ein-schalten den Pairing Modus. Koppeln und verbinden Sie es dann mit dem zweiten Bluetooth Gerät (Lesen Sie dazu“ Koppeln des Headsets mit einem Mobiltelefon);

3. Bedienen Sie das erste Bluetooth Gerät, um es mit dem Headset zu verbinden. Wenn das Bluetooth Gerät mit den anderen Geräten verbunden wurde, wird es sie beim nächsten Verbinden automatisch wiederfinden.

Hinweise:

• Nach erfolgreichem Multi-Pairing, werden die gekoppelten Geräte beim nächsten Mal sofort gefunden.

• Das Headset wird nach dem nächsten Einschalten die zuletzt gekoppelten Geräte wieder verbinden.

• Abschalten der Multi-pair Funktion: dazu muss sich das Headset im Standby

Modus befinden, darf aber nicht mit einem anderen Gerät verbunden sein. Betätigen Sie die MFT und die „Lautstärke leiser“ Taste für 5 Sekunden gleichzeitig und lassen Sie sie wieder los, wenn Sie einen Bestätigungston hören.

• Einschalten der Multi-pair Funktion: dazu muss sich das Headset im Standby Modus befinden, aber nicht mit einem anderen Gerät verbunden sein. Betäti-gen Sie die MFT und die „Lautstärke lauter“ Taste für 5 Sekunden gleichzei-tig und lassen Sie sie wieder los, wenn Sie einen Bestätigungston hören.

3. Wiederanbindung mit einem Bluetooth Gerät

1) Automatisches VerbindenJedes Mal wenn das Headset eingeschaltet wird, verbindet es sich automatisch mit dem zuletzt verbundenen Gerät.

2) Manuelles VerbindenWenn sich das Headset im Standby Modus befindet und nicht verbunden ist, drücken Sie kurz auf irgendeine Taste des Headsets und es wird sich automatisch mit dem zuletzt verbundenen Gerät koppeln.

Hinweis:

• Beachten Sie, dass Sie bei manchen Bluetooth Geräten (z.B. einigen Nokia Mobiltelefonen), das automatische Verbinden in den Telefoneinstellungen aktivieren müssen. Lesen Sie hierzu die betreffende Bedienungsanleitung.

Verbinden Sie das Headset über das USB Kabel mit dem Computer und Sie können die Musik über den Computer hören. Wenn das Headset eingeschaltet ist, können Sie die Funktionen (nächster/letz-ter Titel, schnell vor- und zurückspulen) über das Headset bedienen.

Hinweise:

• Auf einigen Mobiltelefonen wird die Musik über die Lautsprecher des Tele-fons übertragen. In diesem Fall müssen Sie im Einstellungsmenü den Punkt “Audio über Bluetooth senden” wählen und dann den “alpha4” als Lautspre-cher festlegen. Die Musik wird dann auf das Headset übertragen. Lesen Sie bitte die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Telefons für weitere Informationen.

• Beim Erreichen der maximalen oder minimalsten Lautstärke hören Sie einen Anzeigeton.

• Wenn Sie per Fernbedienung den letzten/nächsten Titel oder pause/play bedienen möchten, müssen alle angeschlossenen Geräte das AVRCP Profil unterstützen.

• Nur gekoppelte Bluetooth Geräte (Telefon oder Sender) unterstützen die “schnelles Vorspulen/schnelles Rückspulen” Funktion. Auch hier können Sie

weitere Informationen in der jeweiligen Bedienungsanleitung erhalten.• Die Verbindung zwischen Headset und Mobiltelefon wird automatisch ge-

trennt, wenn Sie eine 3.5mm Audio Buchse anschließen, Line in ist weiterhin verfügbar, aber die Funktionen des Headsets können nicht genutzt werden

8. WerkseinstellungenUm das Gerät auf die Werkseinstellungen zurückzusetzen drücken Sie im Standby ohne dass das Headset mit einem anderen Gerät verbunden ist länger die Multi-funktionstaste und die II Taste für 3~4 Sekunden gleichzeitig und lassen Sie sie los, wenn die rote und blaue LED Anzeige blinken.

Hinweise:

• Bitte erst die Multifunktionstaste und dann die II Taste drücken oder beide gleichzeitig.

• Wenn Sie das Headset auf die Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt haben, wird die Pairing Liste gelöscht. Nach Wiedereinschalten wird das Headset automatisch den Pairing Modus aktivieren, aber sich nicht mehr automa-tisch mit anderen Geräten verbinden.

Pflege und WartungLesen Sie die folgenden Empfehlungen sorgfältig, um viele Jahre Freude an Ihrem alphatronicsSound 4 zu haben.

1. Bewahren Sie das Produkt stets an einem trockenen Platz auf.2. Setzen Sie das Produkt keiner Hitze oder direkten Sonneneinstrahlung

aus. Hohe Temperaturen können die Elektronik schädigen und bestimmte Kunststoffteile verformen.

3. Nutzen Sie den Kopfhörer nicht beim Sport ausüben, das Produkt ist nicht wasserdicht.

4. Setzen Sie den Kopfhörer nicht extremen Temperaturen aus, die Leiterplatte könnte Schaden nehmen.

5. Versuchen Sie nicht das Headset auseinanderzubauen.6. Lassen Sie das Headset nicht fallen, die Leiterplatte könnte Schaden nehmen.7. Nutzen Sie keine scharfen Reiniger oder Chemikalien, um das Produkt zu

säubern.

FAQs (Häufig gestellte Fragen)1. Warum kann alphatronicsSound 4 nicht eingeschaltet werden?

Bitte laden Sie den Akku auf.2. Warum kann der Sender nicht mit einem anderen Bluetooth Gerät gepairt werden?

Vergewissern Sie sich, 1) dass das andere Gerät A2DP unterstützt oder 2) dass das andere Gerät sich in einer Reichweite von 5m befindet oder 3) dass sich das andere Bluetooth Gerät im Pairing Modus befindet.

3. Warum kann ich keine Musik hören? Vergewissern Sie sich, dass 1) der Sender mit dem Player verbunden ist oder 2) dass der Player Musik abspielt.

4. Warum blinkt die LED Anzeige beim Aufladen nicht rot? Vergewissern Sie sich, dass 1) das Ladegerät richtig angeschlossen ist oder 2) Sie haben das Headset für längere Zeit nicht genutzt, der Akku muss min. 30 Minuten geladen werden, dann blinkt die LED Anzeige.

5. Warum kann ich die Stimme nicht klar über das Headset hören? Vergewissern Sie sich, dass 1) das sich Mobiltelefon in der Signalreichweite befindet oder 2) sich das Headset in der benötigten Reichweite befindet.

Welcome to use this Bluetooth stereo headset, alphatronicsSound 4. Please read this user’s manual carefully before use.

Brief introduction

1. Bluetooth wireless communication technologyBluetooth is a standard of close range wireless communication technology that was drawn up by Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Nokia and Toshiba. With Bluetooth technology, we can achieve the highest transmission rate among cell phones, computers, printers, PDAs and other devices. The max transmission range of class II is 10 meters while the max transmission ranges of class I can reach up to 100 meters.

2. About alphatronicsSound 4alphatronicsSound 4 is a Bluetooth stereo headset. Foldable and retractable design is very easy to take with you. It supports the following Bluetooth profiles:

HSP —— Headset Profile

HFP —— Hands-free Profile

A2DP—— Advanced Audio Distribution Profile

AVRCP——Audio/Video Remote Control Profile

You can enjoy music wirelessly by using alphatronicsSound 4. It has the following features:

1) Pairing with a Bluetooth cell phone or PDA supporting HFP profile.• Answer a call, end a call and reject a call• Redial last number

4) Every time the headset is turned on, it will connect to last connected device automatically.

Note: In order to complete above function, the Bluetooth profiles of paired device must be same as the headset. And even though the paired device and the headset support the same Bluetooth profiles, functions may vary due to specification differences of the paired devices.

2. Charging the headsetThe headset comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, prior to using it, it is recommended to charge the battery fully for the first time.

When the headset is low power, the headset emits three “Dong” tones every 30 seconds and the red LED flashes. Please recharge the battery of the headset.

The way of charging as following:

Using USB cable1. Plug USB charging cable into the USB port of computer2. Plug another side of USB cable to headset

Red light on: Charging Blue light on: Finish charging

3. It will takes about 2.5 hours to finish charging

Remarks:

• The battery is recyclable. • Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to

excessive heat place, such as sunshine, fire or the like.

Getting started

1. Turning on/off the headset

Remark: In order to save power, the headset will turn off automatically if no devices can be connected after 5 minutes.

2. Pairing the headset with Bluetooth devices

1) How to enter pairing mode

Ensure the headset is off, and then press and hold MFB button for 5~6 seconds until red and blue LED flash alternately

Remark: Pairing mode will last 2 minutes. If no devices can be connected after 2 minutes, it will return to standby mode automatically.

2) Pairing the headset with a Bluetooth cell phonePrior to using the headset for the first time, you have to pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone. The pairing procedures are subject to different models of cell phones. Please refer to your cell phone user’s manual for further information. The general pairing procedures are as follows:

1. Keep your headset and phone within 1 meter when pairing;2. Make the headset enter pairing mode (please refer to “How to enter pairing

mode);3. Activate your cell phone’s Bluetooth function and set your cell phone to

search for Bluetooth devices within range, and select “alpha4” from the list of devices shown;

4. According to the indication, enter password or PIN No: “0000”;5. If prompted by your cell phone to connect, select “Yes” (this will vary among

cell phone models);6. After successful connecting, blue LED flashes twice every 4 seconds.

Remarks:

• If pairing is failed, please turn off the headset first and then re-pair accor-ding to steps 1-6 mentioned above.

• After pairing is successful, the headset and the cell phone will remember each other, they will no need to re-pair next time. The headset can remem-ber 8 paired devices, when the number of paired devices exceeds 8, the first one will be replaced.

• Every time the headset is turned on, it will connect to last connected device automatically. If you want to pair it with other devices, please turn off the Bluetooth function of last connected devices first and pair the headset with the new device according to steps 1-6 mentioned above.

3) Pairing the headset with a Bluetooth transmitterYou can connect the headset to a Bluetooth transmitter to enjoy music wirelessly. Hereby take BA1 (Bluetooth transmitter for mobiles, TVs etc. not included) for example. The pairing steps are as follows:

1. Keep your headset and phone within 1 meter when pairing;

2. Make the headset enter pairing mode (Please refer to “How to enter pairing mode);

3. Turn on the Bluetooth transmitter and make it enter paring mode. It will search for Bluetooth devices automatically and send a pairing request;

4. When the headset requests to enter a PIN No., the transmitter will response “0000” automatically;

5. After successful pairing and connecting, blue LED of the headset flashes twice every 4 seconds.

Remarks:

• The pairing password of alphatronicsSound 4 is “0000”. So, the headset can only pair with a Bluetooth transmitter whose pairing password is “0000”.

• If pairing still fails after several tries, please refer to the Bluetooth transmitter’s user’s manual for further information.

4) Pairing headsets with Multi-devicesThe headset can connect with two Bluetooth devices at most. If you want to finish the multi-pairing, please refer to the following steps:

1. Firstly, pair and connect the headset with Bluetooth device one (refer to “pairing the headset with a Bluetooth cell phone);

2. Turn off the headset and make it enter paring mode again, pair and connect with Bluetooth device two(refer to “pairing the headset with a Bluetooth cell phone);

3. Operate Bluetooth device one to connect with headset. The headset has already connected with Bluetooth device one and two, the headset also can connect with these two devices automatically next time.

Remarks :

• After successful multi-pairing, the paired devices will remember each other.• The headset will connect with last connected two devices automatically

after turn on.• Turn off multi-pair function: the headset in standby mode, not connect with

device, press MFB and volume down button for 5 seconds simultaneously and release it until hear a prompt tone.

• Turn on multi-pair function: the headset in standby mode, not connect with device, press MFB and volume up button for 5 seconds simultaneously and release it until hear a prompt tone.

3. Reconnecting with a Bluetooth device

1) Automatic connectingEvery time the headset is turned on, it will connect to last connected device automatically.

2) Manual connectingWhen the headset is in standby mode and not connect with device, short press any button of headset, it will connect to last connected device.

Remarks:

• Before connecting to a Bluetooth device, please turn on the Bluetooth function of Bluetooth device.

• On some Bluetooth devices, take some Nokia cell phones for example, you have to allow automatic connecting in the cell phone’s settings. Please refer to your cell phone’s manual for further information.

4. Making a call with the headset

• Not all the mobile phones support all the functions listed above. Please refer to your mobile phone user’s manual.

• Different function and prompt tone according to different mobile phone.• When the volume is adjusted to max or min, you will hear one prompt tone.• When pressing the answer button on some mobile phones, the call will be

transferred to the mobile phone. You can switch the call to the headset by using the conversation switch button or through operating on the mobile pho-ne. Please refer to your mobile phone user manual for further information.

5. Playing musicWhen the headset connects to a mobile phone or Bluetooth transmitter which supports A2DP, you can enjoy music wirelessly through the headset.

USB function Turned off or turned on Connect the headset with computer via USB cable, you can enjoy music form computer. If the headset is turned on, you can control previous/next song, fast forward/fast rewind of the headset.

Notes:

• When playing music on some mobile phones, the music will be transmitted to the mobile phone’s speaker instead of the headset. You have to select “transmit the sound via Bluetooth” in the settings menu and then choose “alpha4” as speaker device. The music will be transmitted to the headset. Please refer to your mobile phone’s user’s manual for further information.

• When the volume is adjusted to max or min., you will hear one prompt tone.• If you want to remote control last/next song, pause/play, it needs your

Bluetooth mobile phone or Bluetooth transmitter paired with the headset to support AVRCP profile, please refer to the user’s manual of your mobile phone or Bluetooth transmitter for further information.

• Only the paired Bluetooth devices(phone or transmitter) support “fast

forward/fast rewind” function, and the headset can use this function. Please refer to your Bluetooth devices’(phone or transmitter) user’s manual for further information

• The Bluetooth will disconnect between headset and mobile phone automati-cally if you plug 3.5mm audio input, and the Line in is available in this time, but the other functions of headset is not available.

8. Factory ResetIn the status of standby mode and not connect with device, long press MFB and II button for 3~4 seconds simultaneously and release it until the red and blue LED on simultaneously.

Remarks:

• For factory reset, you should press MFB button first, and then press II button or press MFB and II button simultaneously.

• After factory reset, the paired list of headset will be deleted. When you turn on the headset again, it will enter paired mode automatically, but it won’t con-nect with device automatically, you should re-pair and connect with devices.

Care and maintenanceRead the following recommendations carefully before using alphatronicsSound 4. Following these you will be able to enjoy this product for many years.

1. Keep it dry and don’t put it in the dump place to avoid the product’s internal circuit being affected.

2. Keep the product away from direct sunlight or hot places. High temperatures will shorten the life of electronic devices, destroy the battery or distort certain plastic parts.

3. Don’t use this product during sport to avoid the sweat into product so that damage the product. This product is not water-resistant.

4. Don’t expose the product to cold areas. It may damage the internal circuit board.

5. Don’t try to disassemble the product as it may get damaged if you are not professional.

6. Don’t let it fall down onto the floor or other hard surfaces. The internal circuit might get damaged.

7. Don’t use intensive chemical products or detergent to clean the product.8. Don’t scratch the surface with sharp things.

FAQs1. What does it mean if all the LED indicator turns red?

Battery is low power, need to be recharged.2. Why is the red LED off when charging?

a) Please make sure the charging device connect with headset Well; b) You didn’t use the headset for a long time, the battery may dry up. At this

time, you have to charge the battery for 30 minutes, and then the red LED will be ON.

3. How far is the effective rang between the headset and mobile phone? According to the Bluetooth standard, the max available range of ClassII headset is 10 meters. It varies under different environment.

4. Why my mobile phone can not search and find the headset? The mobile phone will not find the headset if headset and mobile phone are not under the pairing mode. Make sure the headset is under the pairing mode and in the effective working range, and then the headset can be paired and connected.

5. Why the headset can not hear the voice? a) Make sure the headset has been switched on; b) Make sure the volume is not too low or muted; c) Make sure the headset connects with the mobile phone correctly;

d) Make sure the distance between the headset and the cell phone is in the available Bluetooth range.

6. Why the headset can not hear the voice clearly in conversation? a) Make sure the mobile phone is in the strong signal area; b) Make sure the headset is in the available range of this product.

7. Why can’t control pause, play, last song and next song when playing music? This function needs your Bluetooth device supports AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control profile)
