PAYROLLING PROCESSOur on-boarding process for payrolling (after a candidate is identified by our client) is very similar to our process for contract workers. Once identified as a payrolling candidate, Belcan is able to place him/her onto our payroll very quickly. The time frame is solely dependent on time necessary to complete desired screening methods. Qualifying the Candidate

Before the screening takes place, before any questions are asked, Belcan qualifies our candidates (start date, overview of employment, negotiate rates and discuss benefits, etc.).

Screening the Candidate Belcan can conduct a variety of background checks customized per our client request. Work references are completed on all candidates prior to their assignment. We call previous employers about work history, skills, and performance while confirming hire dates, titles, and rehire status. Throughout the entire pre-employment process, Belcan’s team of recruiters will record all status in our online applicant tracking system which can be accessed by our client managers 24-7.

Hiring the Candidate When an individual is confirmed to start on a job requirement, a hire letter is generated immediately along with a hire package consisting of all pertinent paperwork and tax forms. Belcan can then provide orientation for payrolling candidates, prior to the start of assignment, through various tools including, but not limited to, one-on-one training sessions, orientation classes, customized manuals, and videos.

Employing the Candidate Belcan understands that employee retention includes more than just placing an individual onto our payroll. Our retention efforts go far beyond the first day of employment.
