2016 Wuhan trash pick-up activity

The March 20, 2016 riverside trash pick-up activity on the banks of the Yangtze River was complete success!

The results were:

1. Total of 240 university student and citizen volunteers attended the activity.

2. All together 8 teams from local universities participated in the event.

3. We picked up about 500 kg of garbage.

4. The collection was done along the Wuhan Hankou Yangtze Riverside Park and along the Wuchang

Yangtze Riverside Park (as shown below)

Advocated by the Rivers of the World Foundation(http://rowfoundation.org ), 2016 World Water Day

volunteer groups and public colleges and universities to take part in the "Clean Rivers" international volunteer

activities in Wuhan, China successfully concluded.

March 20 morning, the eight volunteers, volunteer groups and the public more than 240 people to pick up the

Yangtze River in Wuhan, marshland of non-degradable garbage about more than 500 kg.
