Dear Applicant, We are thankful that you have decided to apply for admission to Bethesda University. Since its founding in 1976,Bethesda has been committed to biblically centered

education, scholarship, and service equipping men and women in mind and character to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Students fulfill a comprehensive foundation in Bible and theology that is necessary to develop a life of worship and an ability to think as Christians in the respective disciplines. Therefore, the University seeks students who desire an education that integrates their faith and learning. Additionally, the University reviews applicants whose Christian commitment, academic records, and moral character match those of the University. To Apply for admission 1. File Application for Admission. Complete all pages legibly. Specify when you plan to enroll. 2. Include a non-refundable $35 application fee ($100 for international students) payable by check or money order to Bethesda University. Please include applicant’s name on the check. 3. Request official transcripts from high school and from every school attended after high school graduation. If enrolled at the time application is filed, be sure to request transcripts of work you have finished and final transcripts upon completion of course of study whether it is high school or college. Transcripts must be submitted in a sealed envelope. 4. Submit two pictures. (2 passport color photographs) 5. Request two recommendations (three for the graduate applicants) (forms supplied). Forms must be addressed to the Office of Admissions (References should be provided by persons outside of your own family who can attest to your academic ability and Christian testimony. Etc.). 6. Submit a Christian experience essay/Personal statement. (follow the guidelines given in the application) 7. Request an interview. All applicants are expected to

participate in an interview with an Admissions director prior to a decision on their application.

Applicants from overseas are not required to interview unless notified by the Admissions staff. 8. International Students must submit an Affidavit of Support

in addition to the above requirements. F1 students who are already in the U.S. must submit ‘Notice of Intent to Transfer’.

9. You must also submit a Medical Examination Clearance

report (simple blood & allergy test) and a proof of Health Insurance at the time of registration.

The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) The Family Education Rights and Privacy of 1974 permits enrolled university student’s access to certain credentials in their files. Bethesda University has long permitted access for the student to his/her previous educational records, such as high school transcripts and college transcripts (if a transfer), TOEFL scores and educational records at Bethesda University.Because of the importance of preserving the confidentiality of letters of recommendation, the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act permits an educational institution to suggest an applicant may waive his/her right to access to letters of recommendation. Signing such waiver is not required as a condition for admission, receipt of financial aid or receipt of any other services or benefits from Bethesda University.

입학을 지원하려면:

1. 입학 지원서를 작성 하십시오. 모든 원서를 보기쉽게 기재하시고

시작하고자 하는 학기를 표기해주십시오.

2. 지원서 수수료를 미국내 지원자일 경우 $35, 해외 지원자일 경우

$100을 함께 동봉하십시오. 수표로 내실경우 받는이를 Bethesda

University 로 명시해주시고 지원자의 이름을 수표에 표기해

주십시오. 단 유학생인 경우 I-20 발행 수수료 $200 (단, 미국내

타학교에서 편입하는 경우는 $0)을 내셔야 합니다.

3. 고등학교와 이전에 재학했던 대학/대학원의 성적증명서를

제출하십시오. 지원할 당시 다른 학교에 재학중인 경우 현재 듣고

있는 과정이 포함된 성적증명서와 아울러 과정을 마친후

최종성적증명서를 추가로 제출해야 합니다. 성적증명서는

영문이어야 하며 봉인된 공식 성적증명서로 제출해야 합니다.

4. 최근 사진 (여권사진 또는 증명사진) 2장을 첨부하십시오.

5. 추천서 2장(대학원 지원일 경우 3장)을 첨부 하십시오.

추천서는 학교주소가 적혀있는 봉투를 사용하여 추천인이 직접

학교로 보내야하며 추천인은 지원자의 가족외의 사람이어야

합니다.

6. 영문 또는 한글로 작성한 신앙간증문/지원자의 자기소개서를

첨부하십시오. (지원서안에 있는 설명 참조)

7. 입학 면접 날짜와 시간을 신청하십시오. 단 해외지원자일 경우

면접 절차는 면제됩니다.

8. 유학생(F-1 신분)인 경우 재정 보증서와 은행 잔고증명서 (US
