Andelen förnybart blir faktiskt lite lägre än de 48,9 % som man kan utläsa av denna tabell eftersom förnybarandelen ska räknas enligt "EU-metod" vilket inkluderar frivärme från små värmepumpar, men exkluderar frivärme till värmepumpar i fjärrvärme, samt hälften av avfallet och all torven. Dessutom ska man inkludera distributionsförlusterna både i fjärrvärmen och i elnäten. Det gör att förnybarhetsandelen troligen ligger på 47,8 procent (eller om så vill "omkring 48 procent").

World Pellets 2012

World Pellets 2012 is an integrated part of World Bioenergy 2012. A three day ”conference in the conference” covering all aspects of pellets: raw material potentials, innovative pellets production systems, torrefaction, new combustion technologies, trade and market development, health and safety aspects, etc.

Market outlook

We discuss renewable energy targets and the best policy to increase the demand for sustainable modern bioenergy. Global trade and improved logistics open up the markets. New trading places and indexes are needed, as well as generally accepted standards. In this session you learn all about current market development, including drivers like incentives and policies.

Globala trender – Som vi ser världen

•  Fossila bränslen blir dyrare och orsakarstörre skada per energienhet.

•  Biodrivmedel blir allt billigare och livcykelanalysen, LCA, blir allt bättre.

•  Det finns tillräckligt med åkermark och biomassa för kraftig expansion av både mat och energiproduktion. Efterfrågan måste komma först för att göra produktionen möjlig.

•  Ökad bioenergianvändning och handel sprider välfärd till landsbygd och fattiga länder.

Energy Systems

Modern bioenergy is a young industry. Therefore, technical development is rapid, with many new innovations. This session focuses on technical development in the whole bioenergy chain, from harvesting of forest residues to combustion technologies and co-firing. Optimal use of biomass through district heating or cooling small scale and large scale and CHP technology for electricity production.

Elproduktion 2011

Biokraft, dvs el från biobränslen, avfall och torv, från kraftvärme och industriellt mottryck, gav 10,3 TWh el 2011, vilket motsvarar 7,1 procent av eltillförseln. Källa: Svensk Energi, bearbetning av Svebio. Förnybara andelen i elproduktionen var 56,6 %. Elexporten var 7,0 TWh.

Enligt elcertifikatsystemet fanns det i Sverige år 2011: • 2 036 vindkraftverk (380 nya 2011) • Installerad effekt på 2 769 MW. (varav 765 år 2011) • Elproduktionen från dessa uppgick till 6,1 TWh Om samtliga verk fanns vid årets början producerade de på maxeffekt 25 % av tiden.

Transportation

A non-fossil transport sector is a huge challenge. Biofuels for transport are under rapid development with new methods and feedstock. Sustainability and economy are critical factors, but also adaptability to the current transport systems. The biofuels need efficient vehicles and motors, to be competitive with other transport solutions. New alternatives emerge, beside ethanol, biodiesel, electricity and biogas. How will the transport sector evolve within the coming years?

World Biorefinery

Biorefineries with co-production of liquid, gaseous and solid biofuels with power, heat and chemicals for efficient and optimal use of biomass is the way forward. But strategies, business models, and technological choices are numerous; torrefaction, pyrolysis, enzymatic evolution, thermal gasification, biogas, syngas production, etc. All major biobased industries are today considering biorefinery concepts. The sessions aim to showcase the current state-of-the-art: the projects, and the technological developments.

Sustainability Day How do we achieve a sustainable market growth for modern bioenergy? The last day of World Bioenergy is dedicated to sustainability. It includes the first ever public dialog forum regarding the coming ISO 13065 standard – Sustainability criteria for bioenergy. Asking all bioenergy stakeholders - how can we guarantee sustainable bioenergy and what could the role of a standard be? Sustainability day and World Bioenergy 2012 closes with a high profile panel debate, focusing on the best way forward.
