ADULT HOLIDAY RESPITE PROGRAM

Do you care for someone at home with a disability who is 18 and over? We offer a range of fun activities during the holiday break. Activities enable participants to have fun while enjoying the

company of others, experiencing new things and places, and much more.

Transport: 3 pickup points are available

People who don’t use Blairlogie day services are welcome to participate.

Blairlogie is a non-profit community service organisation that has been providing supports to adults with a disability since 1987.

Peninsula Holiday Program: Expression of Interest

IMPORTANT: Blairlogie are moving towards an electronic process for people to express their interest in activities. By emailing the forms back, it saves time and the need to use a slower post office mail system. Also, due to recent changes in the delivery of mail, it takes longer for the mail to be received by us.

Booking:

Complete the expression of interest form and email/fax/post back to Elizabeth Newell (details on last page) by 13th of June, 2016. Emailed and faxed forms are preferred. If you haven’t already registered for this program, registration forms will be sent out to you. These need to be completed and sent back by 23rd of June, 2106. People will only be booked into activities once registration forms are returned.

Once the expression of interest and registration forms are returned, a confirmation letter and an invoice will be sent to you. Payment must be made before by 27th of June, 2016.

Monday 4th July

The Big Goose $25 The Big Goose in Moorooduc combines an animal farm with an Adventure Park. Activities include tractor rides, petting barn, mini golf, tyre maze and a giant jumping pillow.

BYO snacks, lunch and drink. Blairlogie pickup 9:00am drop off 3:30pm. Mornington Bunnings pickup 9:30am drop off 3pm. Frankston Bunnings pickup 9:30am drop off 3pm.

Tuesday 5th July

Paint a Pot $35Paint a Pot in Narre Warren enables participants to transform ready-to-paint ceramics into decorative and usable pottery art.

BYO snacks, lunch and drink. Blairlogie pickup 9:00am drop off 3:30pm. Mornington Bunnings pickup 9:30am drop off 3pm. Frankston Bunnings pickup 9:30am drop off 3pm.

Wednesday 6th July

BBQ lunch and walk $25 Enjoy a delicious lunch cooked on BBQs at Fingal Picnic Ground in Camp Schanck on the Mornington Peninsula. Afterwards, go for a walk and have a look around the Cape Schanck Lighthouse.

Thursday 7th July

A Maze ‘N’ Things $50 A Maze ‘N’ Things in Phillips Island offers a world of optical illusions, mazes and puzzles that will entertain, intrigue and amuse everyone. After a fun filled morning, travel into San Remo and enjoy a delicious lunch of fish and chips by the water.

BYO snacks and drink. Blairlogie pickup 8:30am drop off 4:00pm. Mornington Bunnings pickup 9am drop off 3:30pm. Frankston Bunnings pickup 9am drop off 3:30pm.

Friday 8th July

New Release Movie $35 Sit back and relax while watching a movie with your friends. Movie options will be presented on the day with staff dividing up and supporting the 2 most popular movie choices. A movie snack (small popcorn and drink) included in the cost.
