By Jim Green The guys and gals at Cyclone Motorcycles celebrated their official launch of BMW Motorrad this week, with a beer and bratwurst sun downer at their showroom in Winnellie on Thursday, March 1. “We’re really thrilled to have another premium brand to add to our first- rate range,” enthused Tim Walker, Cyclone Motorcycles manager. “We already have the finest quality motorcycles in Darwin, with the full range of Honda motorcycles, quads and ATVs, Husqvarna motorcycles, the world’s fastest enduro bikes, and Polaris quads and ATVs. BMW motorcycles are another feather in our cap! “We’re especially excited with the support BMW have given us,” said Tim. “They’ve provided us with all the specialist tools required to service BMWs, and have assisted with training our workshop mechanics so they’re familiar with all BMW motorcycles. “We’re well-placed to provide an excellent service to those riders who already own a BMW motorcycle in Darwin.” All the new BMWs were on show and looking fantastic, with a number of enthusiastic people giving the bikes some closer examination or throwing a leg over to try them out for size. Some of the revellers arrived on their own BMW motorcycles, leaving the car park awash with both old and new bikes alike. Steve Armitage, the dealer principal and owner of Darwin’s newest motorcycle dealership, outlined the focus for Cyclone Motorcycles. “Our backbone is our friendly staff; all of us are passionate about motorcycles and motorcycling. Our focus is to provide outstanding service to all our customers. “We have a magnificent showroom and workshop in a great location close to the city. The guys and gals at Cyclone Motorcycles celebrated their offi cial launch of BMW Motorrad this week, with a beer and bratwurst sun downer at their showroom in Winnellie on Thursday, March 1.
