序言

Launched in 1993, our MFA programhashadanannualstudy intakeof two

or three. The size leaves much to desirealthoughitisqualityratherthanquantitythatmatters. As a remedy, we have launchedtheMA in FineArts program since 2009. Intheblinkofaneye,thefirstcohortofstudentswillbegraduatingandholdingtheirgraduationexhibitionattheUniversity’sArtMuseum.

In addition to showcasing the learningoutcome of the graduates, the show isintended to provide them with a platformfor exchanges with visitors from within andoutside the University so that they can getfeedbacknecessaryforreflectionsontheirart.

This inaugural graduation showwill feature24 graduates from diverse backgroundsand with dissimilar artistic convictions andaspirations.Forthisreason,theexhibitsareexpectedtoencompassanextensivescope

中大藝術系的藝術碩士課程開辦於

1993年，由於規模不大，每年取得

碩士學位的同學只有二三人，雖說是貴精

不貴多，但總令人覺得遺憾。2009年，藝

術系開辦兩年制的藝術文學碩士課程，以

培育更多的藝術人才。轉眼間，首屆學員

亦即將畢業，並於文物館舉行畢業展。此

展覽不單總結了學員的學習成果，更為他

們提供途徑，與校內校外人士交流，從而

自我反思。

是年畢業的學員共有二十四位，他們來自

不同背景，各有個人的藝術理念與體會，

作品類型與風格亦殊異，畢業展以《多視

幹》命名，正好說明此多元面貌。然而，各

學員對藝術創作的真誠與熱愛，以及對藝

術追求的堅持與執著，卻有著共通之處。於

此，我謹祝是次展覽成功，並期望學員繼續

努力，為香港文化藝術作出貢獻。

T heMA inFineArtsprogramhasbeena focus of my development work in

the Fine Arts Department since two yearsago.Asthefirstcohortofstudentsisabouttograduate,Ihave—tomyownsurprise—thejoysimilar to thatofexpectinganewborn.Eachofthesestudents—despitetheirrichworkandlifeexperience—isascuriousasanewbornwhenitcomestohisorherartpursuit.

Whilethestudentsgrapplewithdoubtsandchallenges brought by contemporary art,interactionwith these adult learners bringsmeuncertainties.Butwe all enjoyworkingand solving problems together, turningchallengesintodelightfulexperiences.

Despitetheirdiversebackgroundsandvariedartpracticeexperience,thestudentsshareastrongpassionforartthathasdrawnthemtolearntogetherandfromeachother.Iamtremendouslytouchedbytheproactivespiritofsomestudentswhohavegoneanextramiletocreatedifferentplatformsforsharingart knowledge outside class—something Ihaverarelyseenduringmylongstintasanarteducator.

Theirjugglingamongdayjobs,twoclassesaweekat the remoteCUHKcampus,andthe heavy workload of the program fortwo consecutive years is no easy task. Iam deeply inspired by how the students’strengths, the teachers’ involvement, andthe power of art have worked together toturn this tough journey into an enjoyableexperience.

籌辦文學碩士（創作）一直是我過去兩

年在藝術系發展工作上的重點。今

年，首屆畢業生終於誕生，我居然有一種

迎接新生兒的喜悅。雖說是新生兒，其實

班上的同學無論在年紀或社會經驗都不算

少，但在藝術上的追求，却都懷有一顆赤

子之心，幾乎無一例外。當代藝術為同學

帶來了疑問和挑戰，同學也為我帶來和成

人學生相處的疑慮；值得高興的是，大家

都在磨合中找到快樂和滿足，找到各自克

服困難的樂趣。

這一屆的同學雖來自不同的背景，卻難得

地分享著相若的、對藝術的熱情度；這種

強度弭消了同學背景和水平的差異，更創

造了共同學習，互相補益的文化。當中由

同學主動發起的，用以分享各種課堂以外

藝術知識、動態的各種機制，更是我過去

從事教育多年所僅見，令我十分感動。

白天上班，每週兩次跑到偏遠的中大來上

課，如此持續兩年，無論如何也不是輕鬆

的事情，再加上繁重的課業，如果缺乏了學

生的個人質素的支持、老師的投入、以及藝

術本身的吸引力，幾不可能共生一種化勞累

為享受的結果。於此，我深受啟發。

我覺得有必要感謝這一屆的學生，無論在

個人能力、素質和熱情都更鞏固了我往後

對後學士課程的信念，及辦好這課程的信

心。在此也要謝謝諸位參與教學的同事和

指導畢業創作的藝術家，謝謝他們對這課

程和學生的支持。

畢業展雖然是學習成果的一個總結，甚至

被視為是一種在這階段中，能力和天份的

最後展示；但我作為同學學習和發展過程

的見證者，當中所看到的許多疑惑、躊

Havingputdown thesewords, I no longerseepeopleinthisclassasmystudentsbutfriendsIwouldliketohaveforyearstocome.

躇、突破、甚至返回原點…這些在畢業展

中看不到的種種幕後努力和掙扎，已揭示了

作為課程主持人所希望看到的，也是最珍貴

的東西--對藝術的熱愛，對自己的要求。

最後，我要再多謝班中幾位熱心為其他作

出貢獻的同學，他們為這課程提供了課

外、畢業後持續發展的基礎，例如成立了

同學會；我有預感，他們會繼續是這難得

聚合的守護天使。

寫下了這些文字，我覺得這班同學已不再是

我的學生，他們是我值得長期交往的朋友。

Thisisastoryaboutart.Inthebeginning,24 people from different walks of life

came across each other in the Fine ArtsDepartmentoftheCUHK,wheretheystartedtheir regular dash between workplaces,homes, and the University Station for thenexttwoyears.

Fatigue and problems did arise, but nevercrushed these people’s passion for art.Two years have quickly passed. As theseart practitioners are now busy with theupcoming graduation show, they don’tseem towant tokiss their studygoodbye.Why is that? Have they still not fathomedwhatartisabout?

Whileweareworkingonthisshowcatalogthatyouarenowholding,ourheartsbegintosinkbecauseweknowitisabouttimetowave goodbye. We might have felt stuck,baffledattimes inthesetwoyears,butweare thankful for eachother’s companyandencouragement from Kurt Chan, Directorof theMA Program (Studio art).Wewon’tforget those Wednesday night creativeworkshops where exciting discussionssparkled, sincere comments flied, andlaughterswereplenty.Wehavebuiltgenuinefriendshipand fellowshipalongthis journeyof art at the CUHK, and have witnessedeachother’sdevelopmentandgrowthasartpractitioners.

這是一個有關藝術的故事。廿四位來

自不同背景的同學相遇在中大藝術

系，兩年來每週疾走於工作間、家庭和大

學站。

期間，他們無論在生活上，抑或在創作上

都經歷了不少疲憊困窘的時刻，然而創作

熱情未減…霎眼間兩年過去，畢業展覽將

至，怎麼他們好像還未想畢業，似要再延續

下去呢？難道仍未參透何謂藝術？

今天這冊子快將付梓，感覺彷如目送大家

的背影漸行漸遠，十分不捨。兩年來學習

路上，縱使偶爾迷茫失措，但我們總是結

伴同行、砥礪互勉，身邊亦總有班主任強

哥(陳育強教授)的鼓勵。還記得逢星期三晚

創作課上討論時火花四濺――“我咁睇…”

、真話滿場飛――“其實呢…”、笑聲此起彼

落――“呢件作品好爛囉！”的片段，不諱言

我們已建立了深厚的友情，並一同見證了

大家在藝術路上的成長。

畢業展名為《多視幹》，意指當代藝術創作

和實踐的開放性和多樣性。同時也向大家

宣告了我們是一班背景各異、充滿活力、

有抱負又實幹的年青創作人。我們更希望

作品能面向不同社群，建立共同的平台，

以示我們支持藝術通達。畢業展除了讓我

們有機會向大家展示這兩年來於創作中反

思學習的總結，它更預告了我們對自己畢

業後的各種期望–如何在不同範疇上回饋

本地藝術。

By naming our graduation show Broad Agenda, we would like to expressthe openness and diverse nature ofcontemporary art practices, in additionto showing to audiences that we are agroupofenergetic,ambitious,hardworkingyoungartistswithdiversebackgroundsandconcerns. We also want our art to be aplatformforexchangeandsharingbetweendifferentcommunitiesinoursociety,thusoursupportforenhancedaccessibilitytoincludedisabled audiences in this show. Asidefrom showcasing learning outcomes andourreflectionsonartmaking,theshowisapreviewofhowwemightwanttocontributetothelocalartsceneaftergraduation.

鍾雅珊自澳洲皇家墨爾本理工大學修畢紡織設計

學士學位後回港，續於香港中文大學修讀藝術碩士

課程。鍾氏的作品多關注自己個人的經歷和自身的體驗關

係﹣通過日常材料反思在物質環境下的個人體驗。作品大部

分的材料來自毛線、布料、聲音及表演，並透過舞蹈，以身體

和動作去表現兩性之間的關係及文化語言。

對何謂實與虛已混同。“現實”確切地存在,但對它

存在的覺知卻爽然，我甚至分不清真實與虛幻之間

的差異。也許，絕對真實只是一種構想...

基於此，我的作品企圖從現實狀態中，藉着陶泥與我構建

的一種微妙、含蓄而克制的語言，重新尋求和創造存在的

意義。

何炘基的藝術作品在於探求科技對人文發展的局限。

科技原是人類所創，用以超越自然的局限，然而，

當我們每天的生活都受科技所程式化，而又依循其邏輯、規

律、及局限來行走天地間，久而久之，就不自覺的自以為程式

的決策來自自我，殊不知我們已墮入程式設計師的迷宮，早

已迷失自我。

在香港成長和生活，曾於加拿大留學。對藝術抱著追尋

的態度，這種態度漸漸成為創作的原動力。然而，科

我的家是我的工作室，

我主要用陶瓷作為創作媒體。有見於我們的腦袋會自

動地將平面印刷的圖畫看成立體，更可以意識其沒

有呈現的背面。我試圖探索這些於二維與三維空間跳動的曖

昧性。作品取材於傳統西方靜物畫，用了陶瓷物料做成看似

平面畫作的立體裝置。我亦想探索常見於靜物畫作中的物件

與我們的關係。

Ceramic is my major medium of expression. I amintrigued by the fact that our brains perceive two-

dimensionalimagesashavingvolumeandprojectunshownsurfacesofobjects.

Appropriating from Western still life paintings, I attempttomanipulate such ambiguity through creating ceramicsinstallationsthatlookasiftheyaretwo-dimensional.Ialsowanttoexploreourrelationshipwiththoseearthyobjectsthatrecurrentlyappearintraditionalstilllifepaintings.

今天希望出去走走。拿著攝影機找題材的時候，就想

著：為什麼我要攝影呢？一直以來，我忘記自己的本

質﹣沉溺於懷緬。取景、角度、景深、光線…當被拍攝的是彌

留中的親人，你還會想這麼多？直至相片紀錄當下已無力，就

走向錄像拍攝，留下了聲音、動作，卻留不下至親的氣味，最

後祇剩下無可代替的愛。

城市中不同的角落都驅使我近年繼續創作。不論一個

地方的空間佈局如何，原來的用途是什麼，其實也因

應用家跟它的互動而發展出其他不同用途。透過作品，我希

的對象，因為當中包含了關於地方的一層層的回憶、進程、解

四百年前米開蘭基羅在西斯汀教堂繪製壁畫「最後的審判」，

目的是警告世人應有善惡因果報應的觀念，因為人死後會

得到上帝公義的裁決。「最後的審判」變奏篇系列，便是畫

家李夏廸以獨創的演繹手法延續經典名作「最後的審判」，

從其中衍生出的一系列作品，以探討由古至今善惡、公義等

問題。

“甚麼是抽筋？”我還小的時候不時這樣子問人，但

總沒有人答得完滿。第一次“抽筋”時，我竟然立

時就把它認出來：「這就是抽筋了！」

跟“藝術”差不多，總沒有人給它一個很好的定義，但每次

遇到時我都感覺得出來――看著一些作品，更震撼得覺雞皮疙

瘩。
