DIA1En Ushuaia, Argentina, embarcaremos en el “Professor Multanovskiy” y navegaremos a través del Canal Beagle hacia el poblado más austral de Chile, Puerto Williams, antes de emprender nuestra navegación hacia el sur.

DIA 2 al 3 AmaneceremosAmaneceremos frente al mítico Cabo de Hornos y dependiendo de las condiciones climáticas, bajaremos nuestros zodiacs para visitar la isla más legendaria del mundo. Luego comenzaremos nuestra navegación en la aguas del Mar de Drake, llamado así en honor al célebre navegante inglés Sir Francis Drake, escoltados por los magníficos albatros de ceja negra y los petreles gigantes del Sur. Los invitamos a ser partícipes de las charlas ofrecidas por nuestros expertos Antárticos y y a observar cuidadosamente la superficie del mar en busca de ballenas Jorobada y de ballenas Minke.

DIA 4Ha llegado la hora de avistar nuestro primer témpano. Las Islas Shetland del Sur finalmente se divisan para hacer nuestro primer desembarco, durante la tarde. Nuestra exploración continuará hasta el anochecer, gracias a la prolongada luz solar.

DIA 5Al llegar a la Isla Rey Jorge, visitaremos la Base Chilena Eduardo Frei y la Base Rusa Bellinghausen. Nos reuniremos en el aeródromo, donde abordaremos el avión que nos llevará a Punta Arenas, Chile.

DAY 1In Ushuaia, Argentina, we will embark on the “Professor Multanovskiy” and we will sail across the Beagle Channel towards the Chilean town of Puerto Williams, before setting sail southwards.

DAY 2 to 3WWe will wake up in front of mythical Cape Horn, and should the weather permit it, we will put our Zodiac boats into the water to visit the most legendary island in the world. Back on board, we will start the adventurous crossing of the waters named in honour of Sir Francis Drake, the Drake Passage, escorted by Black Browed Albatrosses and Southern Giant Petrels. We invite you to enjoy the lectures given by our Antarctic experts, and to gaze and search the sea on the lookout forfor Humpback and Minke whales swimming on their way down to Antarctica.

DAY 4The time has come to spot the first icebergs! The South Shetland Islands will finally come into sight and in the afternoon, we will have the chance to make our first landing. Exploration will continue all evening, thanks to the endless daylight.

DAY 5Upon reaching King George Island, we will visit the Chilean Frei Base and the Russian Base Bellingshausen. We will gather at the aerodrome where we will board the flight that will take us to Punta Arenas, Chile.
