說明

一、本部為應政府施政及民間研究之需要，特就戶籍登記資料加以整理統計，編印成 3

種內容不同之中英文對照統計報告。第一種定名為「戶籍登記人口統計月報」，其

內容包括當月戶口數、動態登記數、人口密度、性比例及人口增加、出生、死亡、

結婚、離婚等項比率。第二種定名為「人口統計季刊」，其內容除刊載當季各月人

口、出生、死亡、結婚、離婚暨其變動情形與各該季國際戶籍遷徙數據外，並刊載

出生、死亡、結婚及離婚等項人口統計分析資料。第三種定名為「人口統計年刊」，

其主要目的，在於提供年終靜態及全年動態人口統計資料，以及依國際標準計算該

項資料之各種比率，以便利資料使用人直接引用。

二、本刊原名為「臺灣人口統計月刊」，因接受有關機關之建議，自民國 64 年 1 月改名

為「臺灣人口統計季刊」，自 83 年 1 月起，復改名為「臺閩人口統計季刊」，旋於

96 年 1 月起，改名為「人口統計季刊」。

三、本刊自 88 年起，新增「離婚登記數、離婚率及其變動率按縣市分」統計表，固定

統計表為表一至表七，刊載每季各月按登記日期為準之戶籍登記資料。各項月別及

累積比率，均經折合以年為單位之千分率，並將有關出生、死亡、結婚及離婚部分

之比率再作季節調整後，同時發表於本刊。

四、本刊之人口數字，僅包括居住國內設有戶籍之中華民國國民。

五、本刊各表所列實數除行政區域及戶數外，均以「人」為單位，表內列有「－」者表

示無數字，列有「0.00」者表示未滿百分或千分之 0.005，列有「※」者表示山地

鄉。

六、本刊統計資料為各鄉(鎮、市、區)戶政事務所及各直轄市、縣(市)政府民政局工作

成果，敬向上述各機關戶政人員，致誠摯之謝忱。

EXPLANATORY NOTES

1. In order to meet the needs for government administration and academic research, the

Ministry of the Interior tabulates and compiles the population data produced from

household registration into three types of publications with Chinese-English version

according to their different contents. The first publication is entitled "The Monthly

Population Statistics of Household Registration ". It consists of numbers of households,

population and vital events, population density, sex ratio as well as rates of population

growth and of vital statistics. The second is entitled "Demography Quarterly". Its contents

comprise the annually analytical data of vital statistics and the monthly data of birth, death,

marriage and divorce as well as the quarterly data of international migration. The third is

entitled "Demographic Fact Book", which is published annually. It contains absolute

figures of both static and dynamic population data as well as relative rates or ratios

calculated according to the international standards.

2. The Demography Quarterly, the successor of the "Taiwan Demography Monthly", is the

second of the above three publications. Due to suggestions from the related organizations,

the Monthly has been changed into the "Taiwan Demography Quarterly" since January

1975, and it has been entitled "Taiwan-Fuchien Demography Quarterly" since January 1994.

It has been entitled " Demography Quarterly" since January 2007.

3. The routine tables of the Quarterly are table 1 through table 7, which contain the monthly

population data of household registration. Among them, table 6 is newly added since 1999,

it includes registered divorces, and unadjusted, seasonally adjusted and cumulative divorce

rates. All the monthly rates are converted into annual rates and the rates of birth, death,

marriage and divorce are presented together with seasonally adjusted ones.

4. The population data used in this Quarterly cover only the Chinese who possesses a

household registration .

5. Except the numbers of civil divisions and households, "Person" is taken as the unit of

integral number in tables. The symbol "－" stands for "None" and "0.00" for less than

0.005 per 100 or 1000 population; and "※" for the aboriginal township.

6. We acknowledge with profound thanks to the departments of civil affairs of the

municipality, county and city governments, and the household registration offices on

township (city or district) level for the submitting of demographic data for this

publication.

提要分析

一、人口總數及增加率根據戶籍登記資料，本（105）年 3 月底，總戶數為 8,479,633 戶，人口總數為 23,496,813

人，其中男性人口數為 11,710,082 人，女性人口數為 11,786,731 人，呈現性比例為 99.35，每戶平均人口數為 2.77 人。因此，3 月底的人口總數，較上（104）年 12 月底增加 4,739 人，折合年增加率為千分之 0.81。

二、出生、死亡、結婚及離婚

根據戶籍登記資料，本（105）年 1 至 3 月累積出生數為 51,426 人；累積死亡數為 48,651人；累積自然增加數為 2,775 人；累積結婚數為 39,446 對；累積離婚數為 12,238 對，茲將上述期間之生命統計件數，列如表一。

三、國際戶籍遷徙

根據戶籍登記資料，本（105）年 1 至 3 月國際戶籍遷徙事件中，戶籍遷入國內人口數為 12,899 人，戶籍遷出國外人口數為 7,253 人，國際淨遷徙人口數為正 5,646 人，其中男性人口淨增 2,177 人，女性人口淨增 3,469 人，茲將上述期間之國際遷徙情形，列如表二。

SUMMARY ANALYSIS

Ⅰ. Population Size and Growth According to the household registration data, at the end of March 2016, there were 8,479,633

households with a total population of 23,496,813 including 11,710,082 males and 11,786,731 females, which indicate an average of 2.77 persons per household and a sex ratio of 99.35 Relative to the total population at the end of 2015, there was an increase of 4,739 persons yielding an annual increase rate of 0.81 per 1,000 population. Ⅱ. Births, Deaths, Marriages and Divorces

On the basis of the household registration data, during the period from January through March 2016, there were 51,426 births, 48,651 deaths, a natural increase of 2,775 persons, 39,446 couples of marriages, and 12,238 couples of divorces. These data are displayed in Table 1.

During the period from January through March 2016, there were 12,899 immigrants and 7,253 emigrants registered Area, resulting in a net number of 5,646 persons increased with 2,177 male and 3,469 female. These data are shown in Table 2.
