As a design engineer of my University’s

official BAJA SAE team (The Conrods) in

my under graduations, I had the

opportunity to work on CAD . Being a

design Engineer it was my responsibility

to take care of all the compliances (GD&T)

while designing a vehicle and as well

make sure that the Designs are

technically correct in terms of

Engineering and Manufacturability.

Being a part of such project I had the opportunity

to enhance my design skills and work on real time

applications of the subjects and concepts that I

learnt sitting in the classrooms.

Out of my passion towards Formula One, I

have modelled a F1 car in Solid Works. This

is a solid model with partial surface

modelling embedded in it.

This is the cad Model and fea results of the ashok leyland 1612 truck’s front damper mount that I had incorporated in the recent paper I published on shape optimization.
