• Cancer le plus fréquent (excluant cancer de peau) = 13% de tous les cancers
• Première cause de mortalité par cancer = 26% de tous les décès par cancer
• Tabagisme = facteur de risque #1
• Pronostic ?
• Survie à 5 ans: environ 18% (estimation de 2012 à 2014)
• Femmes = 22% / Hommes = 15%
• Distinction “historique” :
• cancer à petites cellules (CPC ou SCLC)
