• FT-IR and Microscope FT-IRFT-IR stands for Fourier transform infrared. Once a sample exposed to IR radiation, some radiation is absorbed by the sample and some passes through (is transmitted). The IR absorbed and transmitted is a spectrum representing a sample ‘fingerprint’. A few examples of common materials identified by FT-IR are: Cleansers and Detergents, Paints, Oils, Paper, Gel, Glue, Epoxy, Resin, Fibers (Synthetic and Natural), Plastics, Elastomers (rubber).

FT-IR is a very powerful technique to characterize the chemical composition. As the FT-IR measurement is non-destructive other analytical technique might be applied afterwards.

• Liquid-borne Particle Count (LPC)Our Liquid-borne Particle Count testing method is used for measuring the particles suspended in a liquid medium, on a surface, or within a fluid delivery line. ALS Pathumthani provides various particle extraction methods like agitation, pressure rinsing, or ultrasonic.

For some industry; automotive for example, the particle characterization is analyzed by gravimetric, sizing and counting by microscopic, or nature determination (either manual or automate). Our service is complied with ISO 16232 or VDA19 requirement.
