AZIENDAVITTORIO FOSSATI fonda l’attuale azienda al termine del primo con-flitto mondiale concentrando l’attivi-tà nel settore industriale delle catene medio piccole.Nel 1980, dopo vari passaggi ge-nerazionali sempre nell’ambito della famiglia, entra in azienda il nipote Saini Roberto.L’azienda assume un nuovo impul-so specializzandosi nella produzio-ne di catene da trasporto in gene-rale e in particolare per il trasporto e accumulo.Punto di forza dell’azienda è quel-lo di progettare e realizzare com-pletamente al suo interno utensili e attrezzature varie per la messa in produzione di catene speciali a disegno.Nel corso degli anni diventa fornitrice di primarie aziende ponendo parti-colare attenzione alle loro esigenze; sono state prodotte quindi soluzioni speciali, a volte anche molto inno-vative in collaborazione con gli uf-fici tecnici, che hanno permesso ai ns. clienti di ottimizzare e migliorare le prestazioni delle loro macchine, impianti, senza trascurare gli aspetti economici delle soluzioni offerte.Attualmente il mercato a cui si rivol-ge è formato da aziende nazionali ed internazionali operanti in vari settori: auto, movimentazione, automazione, sollevamento, imbottigliamento, elet-trodomestico, apertura automatica dei serramenti.Tutte le catene prodotte recano il marchio EVEREST.

COMPANYThe company herewith was founded by Vittorio Fossati at the end of First World War, focusing the activities in the industrial sector of light and av-erage size chains.The company has always been leaded by people of the founder’s family and in 1980 Mr. Roberto Saini, grand son of the founder, took full responsibility of the company and provided it with an improved and specialized approach for transport chains in general, and particularly for the ones in the field of light conveying and accumulation.Peculiar strength of the company is the capability to design and manu-facture all inside, both products and toolings, even in case of very special engineered chains. Within the years it has become a supplier of primary customers, paying particular attention to their specific needs.At present Vittorio Fossati company is focused, both in the domestic and in-ternational market, in the following ap-plication sectors: special conveyors for automotive industry, assembling lines of mechanical, electrical and electronic apparatus, lifting applications, food and beverage industry, mechanical devices for window automation, etc.The company’s primary goal is to be-come a partner of its customers by co-operating in studying, engineering and producing the specialized items re-quired and by developing the products in view of future improved requirements.The chains manufactured by Vitto-rio Fossati company are branded “Everest”.

Ci sono alcune semplici regole da adottare per procedere ad un corretto montaggio e per otte-nere la miglior resa possibile quando si utilizza-no le catene.

1. Fissate con cura ciascuna ruota all’albero utilizzando il sistema di fi ssaggio che pre-ferite

2. Controllate l’inclinazione dei due alberi ri-spetto ai loro assi per mezzo di due livelle graduate e fate in modo che la differenza sia inferiore a -/+ 1/300

3. Controllate gli errori di parallelismo degli alberi come mostrato in fi gura in modo che risulti inferiore a -/+ 1/300 il valore (a-b)/L

4. Controllate che le due facce della ruota si-ano sullo stesso piano come mostrato in fi -gura.

There are some simple rules to be adopted to carry out a proper assembling and to get the best performance possible when using chains.

1. Carefully fi x each wheel to the shaft using the mounting system you prefer

2. Check the inclination of the two shafts com-pared to their axes by means of two gradua-ted levels and adjust until the difference is less than +/- 1/300

3. Check any parallelism errors of the shafts as shown in the fi gure so that it is less than +/ - 1/300 of the value of (ab) / L

4. Check that the two faces of the wheel are on the same plane as shown in the fi gure.

Il buon funzionamento e la maggior durata di una catena dipendono da una corretta lubrifi -cazione.

Spesso la lubrifi cazione non viene considerata come parte fondamentale per buon funziona-mento della catena.

Il lubrifi cante opera in modi diversi sulla cate-na, in primis deve separare le superfi ci di perni e bussole per facilitarne il rotolamento. Deve, inoltre, con la sua elasticità, ammortizzare gli strappi tra perno e bussola. Per questo è fonda-mentale la prima lubrifi cazione che è quella che riesce a portare il lubrifi cante tra perno e busso-la. Per questo motivo vi consigliamo di consulta-re i nostri tecnici specialmente per applicazioni gravose o in ambienti particolari.

Il dimensionamento della catena è fondamenta-le e per questo non vogliamo riportare alcune semplici formule da applicare, visto l’incredibile molteplicità di applicazioni e di problemi che si devono analizzare.
