Mission Hills Golf Academies sets its focus on opening the new Center of Excellence at Dong guan, Mission Hills. The New Academy will boast the latest in technology, and provide the best training facilities in China.

November 1st to 4th, Mission Hills Golf Club will play host to the WGC-HSBC Event at our Dong guan venue. Academy instructors will be involved in the event, providing many hours of promotional golf instruction in the tented village. Be sure to stop by and see our coaches doing what they do best! " WGC-HSBC tickets are available at both Mission Hills Shenzhen and Dong guan clubhouses.

受观澜湖高尔夫学院邀请，短杆大师约翰•加纳于本月14日至27日在观澜湖球会开展教学之旅，在此谨代表观澜湖高尔夫学

院欢迎约翰•加纳的到来，感谢他为观澜湖球会的众多会员与嘉宾们分享其渊博的知识与丰富的经验，也感谢他为推动中国

高尔夫事业发展所做出的不懈努力。

October is the month that brought Mission Hills the first edition of our Visiting Professional Program with the arrival of John Garner, the Short Game Guru. Mission Hills Golf Academies welcomed John’s knowledge and experiences he shared with Members, Guests and Students at Mission Hills. The Academies would like to thank John for his visit to Mission Hills, and his willingness to help grow the game of golf in China.

2012年10月14日，世界短杆王约翰加纳在观澜湖高尔夫学院开展了一场别开生面的免费示范教学活动，众多观澜湖会员和

嘉宾积极参与了本次活动。本次教学活动的主题是“教你从三杆变成两杆”，主要教授推杆技巧。活动中，约翰加纳对学

员们进行一对一的辅导并给予个性化的建议，对学员们提高球技大有裨益，更增强了大家对高尔夫的热爱与学习的信心。

作为观澜湖高尔夫学院首位“名誉顾问教练”，在示范活动结束之后，10月23日至27日，约翰加纳还开设了短期私人教学

课程，教学活动包括短杆团体课程，9洞下场课程和私人课程，对学员进行深度培训。 On October 14th 2012, short game guru John Garner conducted a free short game demonstration class at Mission Hills Golf Acad-emies. With lots of Mission Hills members and guests participated, it breaks a new path of golf instruction at Mission Hills. The topic of this event is “Change your short game scores from three to two”. During the event, John mainly taught about putting skills. With one to one individual instruction, John gave the golfers personal advise according to their situation which helps the students a lot. Everyone developed their passion for golf and confidence in their short game. John is an “Honorary Invited Golf Instructor” from Mission Hills Golf Academies. Following the demonstration class John Garner provided individual lessons as well as 9 hole playing lessons during the period Oct. 23rd to Oct. 27th, sharing his knowledge and experience with his students which helps them move to next stage.

10月23日，John Garner对广东省青少年高尔夫球队的队员们进行了一场专业培训。培训课程内容分为挥杆、切球、短

推、长推等专业训练，通过强化练习帮助队员们达到提升、稳定动作的目的。经过半天的密集训练，队员们的各项动作

得到了系统的提升，并同时获得了John Garner的精英课程培训证书。

10月25日，John Garner给观澜湖高尔夫学院的教练们进行了一场专业授课，课程的主要内容是短杆技巧，同时教练们就

实际教学中常遇的客人难点问题与John Garner进行沟通。通过John Garner的悉心点拨，观澜湖高尔夫学院教练的教学专

业水平也得以进一步提升。

October 23rd, John Garner conducted a professional training to the Guangdong Provincial Junior golf team which covered the chipping, short putt, long putt and so on. John help the junior team to improve their golf skill as well as their metal strength. After a half day of training, the team has improved themselves by John’s systematic instruction. At the end all the students got a lesson certificate from John. October 25th, John Garner provided a special seminar for the Mission Hills Golf Academy instructor team, the main topic of the seminar is short game skills. In the pleasant atmosphere the instructors brought their questions to discuss with John Garner. With John’s experience and knowledge, the team got one more step forward to the new level.

观澜湖世界明星赛-免费高球教学 Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am Free Golf Clinic

2012年10月19-21日，观澜湖世界明星赛在海口观澜湖精彩上演。明星赛事如火如荼，高尔夫学院也未停歇。20至21日，球会

执行董事兼学院院长-罗志显先生，学院总监马克·汉德森，来自英格兰的教练斯图尔特·普西以及中国教练谭原在海口球会

举办了5场免费示范教学，与来自保时捷、爱彼手表和时代啤酒的尊贵客人进行了一次亲密接触。

Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am was held at Haikou Mission Hills on 19-21 Oct, 2012. Mission Hills Golf Academies conducted 5 clinics to the distinguished VIP guests attending the event from such companies as Porsche, Audemars Piguet and Stella Artois. Led by Executive Director Iain Roberts assisted by Academies Director, Mark Henderson, and instructors Stuart Pusey and Serena Tan.

金•维奇到访观澜湖高尔夫学院 Kim Welch Golf Instruction

2012年10月24号美国女子职业球手金•维奇(Kim Welch) 在深圳会员练习场与观澜湖高尔夫学院女学员进行了交流，其中包

括中国女子职业高尔夫球手陈利庆。金•维奇(Kim Welch)目前参加的赛事有欧洲女子巡回赛，美国Symmetra未来巡回赛和美

国女子职业高尔夫球巡回赛(LPGA Tour),她也是“大突破”比赛的冠军。金主要与球手们分享了她参加历届大赛的比赛经

验、包括赛前准备、心理训练等知识，并对学员们进行一对一辅导和互动问答。金亲切的经验传授，让学员们获益良多。

Mission Hills Golf Academies welcomed Kim Welch to the Academies in association with our Visiting Professional Program. The current Ladies European Tour Player, Big Break Champion and Futures Tour Player in America conducted a clinic following her participation in the WCPA at Mission Hills, Hainan. With many aspiring ladies attending, including Academies’ student Chen Liqing(Elaine) from the China LPGA Tour, Kim and Director of Academies Mark Henderson spoke to the players about preparation and training for professional golf. Welch and Henderson provided one on one golf instruction to the players, and provided and experi-ence that will certainly inspire the young ladies who attended to continue chasing their professional golf dreams!
