CCA CAREER EXPO

2015

/2016

ERICK LOPEZ 2014 CCA FASHION SHOW

76% OF CCA GRADUATES HAVE A FULL-TIME JOB WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF GRADUATING San Francisco is among the top three cities where it is easiest to find a job (Forbes.com), according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Based on our survey of the 2014 graduating class, 76% of our alumni worked at full-time jobs within six months of graduation, earning an average of $55,000 per year.

CONNECTIONS MATTERTanya Poovaiah, Animation 2015

With so many CCA instructors from Pixar, Tanya became inspired to work there. As soon as she saw the opportunity to apply for an internship, she jumped on it. The career development team helped her refine her résumé and prep for the interview. At Pixar for her interview, she bumped into CCA faculty member Bret Parker. Bret said he’d put in a good word for her. Tanya was thrilled when she was hired as a paid intern at Pixar Animation Studios.

NETWORK FOR LIFEErick Lopez, Fashion Design 2014

As a student, Erick Lopez earned the prized Abercrombie & Fitch internship and was hired upon graduation. He was living his dream until, due to financial troubles, there was a compa-ny-wide layoff. Reaching back to CCA, Erick contacted Fashion Chair Amy Williams and the career development team. Through their connections and support, Erick landed a fantastic job in Nike’s global football division—his dream recaptured.

LOCATION IS EVERYTHINGBrian Leach, Industrial Design 2014

When applying to college, Brian Leach considered a number of schools. He chose CCA for several reasons: The San Francisco Bay Area’s exciting and innovative design community, CCA’s commitment to sustainable design, and the deep connections CCA has to local industry. Doing his research paid off big time for Brian. With the help of his teachers, he secured an internship at Astro Studios and had a job offer at Whipsaw Design before he graduated.

Brian Leach, Industrial Design 2014

When applying to college, Brian Leach considered a num

ber of schools. He chose CCA for several reasons: The San Francisco Bay Area’s exciting and innovative design com

munity, CCA’s

comm

itment to sustainable design, and the deep connections

CCA has to local industry. Doing his research paid off big time

for Brian. With the help of his teachers, he secured an internship

at Astro Studios and had a job offer at Whipsaw
