「亞美文藝協會」秋遊圓滿成功,熱鬧非凡!
「亞美文化藝術協會」已於 9/1日假羅斯維爾市的米爾公園成功圓滿地舉辦了其年度秋遊。此活動吸引了大批亞美會員的踴躍参與和許多義工的無私奉獻。大家在會長林相吟的帶領下將此活動辦得井然有序、活潑生動、熱鬧非凡!
此公園的景緻優美,有如世外桃源。當天晴空如洗,與會者延著清涼的溪邊健行,歡笑聲此起彼落,和樂融融。之後的同樂會上,除了亞美舞蹈班和歌唱班的師生們帶著大家盡興地載歌載舞外,也進行了趣味遊戲。會員們更分享美味的點心,好ㄧ個正能量、充滿愛心又才華橫溢的團體啊!
接著,大半的會員們移陣到附近遠近馳名的美食街,在頂級的餐廳裡享用美食、美酒。席間,大家閒話家常,談笑風生,不但渡過了一個難忘的午後,也為此次活動畫下了溫馨的句點。
「亞美」自創會以來,對內開設鋼琴、聲樂、舞蹈教學班以精進會員的藝術修養,對外則積極到各大老人中心定期舉辦義演,以傳達愛心。有意加入本會教學班、貢獻才華者請與會長林相吟老師聯繫。請電郵 [email protected]以下是本活動的精彩照片分享。

特以「感恩」之名,再次舉辦第二屆感恩盃高爾夫球聯誼賽,以表達對各界支持者無限感恩之意。

比賽辦法:1 .團體組採取Scramble 比賽方式,四人一組,男女混合,按差點

GWINNETT WINS NATIONALACHIEVEMENT AWARDS(Lawrenceville, Ga., Aug. 31, 2018) – Gwinnett County hasbeen recognized with 11 Achievement Awards from the NationalAssociation of Counties, honoring“innovative, effective countygovernment programs that strengthen services for residents.”Board of Commissioners Chairman Charlotte Nash said theNACo awards reflect great work by a lot of hard-working people.
“These awards recognize our long-standing tradition ofinnovation and excellence and confirm Gwinnett as a leaderamong more than 3,000 county governments in the UnitedStates,”said Nash.“Our Bicentennial is an important underlyingtheme this year, but it didn’t stop county organizations fromcontinuing to work on other projects that are important to thecommunity and for which folks are receiving much-deservedrecognition.”
Gwinnett’s Bicentennial Celebration won three awards. Onerecognizes a 20-panel traveling exhibit created by CommunityServices that traces Gwinnett’s history. Another honors an onlineinteractive map program, developed by Information TechnologyServices, that tracks the progress of the Bicentennial Torch asrunners carry it to dozens of locations throughout the year. Thethird award is for the bicentennial website, www.gwinnett200.com, created by Communications.Gwinnett Libraries received a Best in Category award for itsHomegrown Gwinnett program and also won for a joint projectwith Parks and Recreation that featured literary nights at aquaticscenters.Parks and Recreation also shared an award with ITS for its use ofthe Lucity computer platform to track, schedule and predictmaintenance needs for everything from community centers toindividual sprinkler heads. Health and Human Services wasrecognized for adding pet food to its home-delivered mealsprogram for homebound seniors. And a new Hydro Adventure
Experience exhibit at the Gwinnett Environmental & HeritageCenter won its innovative use of technology.
Water Resources was recognized for three programs including itsOstara nutrient recovery facility that produces fertilizer fromwastewater treatment byproducts at the F. Wayne Hill plant.Other programs honored were watershed cleanups and septic tankeducation.NACo President Roy Charles Brooks said, “Counties seizeopportunities to deliver services more efficiently and buildstronger communities every day. Achievement Award-winningprograms are examples for counties that are determined toenhance services for our residents.”NACo recognized award-winning counties at its 2018 AnnualConference and Exposition last month in Nashville.
