1 July 2019 – University of Malaya. A roundtable discussion was held in University of Malaya (UM), between UM and YBhg. Datuk Noorashidah Ahmad, Vice President and General Manager (Order Fulfillment & Supply Chain) Keysight Technologies to discuss on the Ministry of Education (Higher Department) initiative, the CEO@Faculty Programme (CFP). The discussion started with a welcoming speech and background presentation by YBhg. Datuk (Dr.) Ir. Abdul Rahim Bin Hashim, Vice Chancellor of University of Malaya (UM), information on UM involvement in CFP from 2015 until now and followed by the previous engagements between UM and Keysight Technologies.

YBhg. Datuk Noorashidah Ahmad has also presented the overview of Keysight Technologies and explained their business model. The final agenda on CFP proposal and content for year 2019 to 2020 has been discussed by both parties as stated below:

Meeting notes:

1. To schedule a workshop between UM and Keysight Technologies representative to brainstorm suitable engagement programmes for CFP initiatives;

2. Keysight Technologies to tap on international and local students placement from UM;

3. To look for possible collaboration between Keysight Technologies and UM in plantations management;

4. To schedule for a site visit in relevant centers in UM :

a) GaN on GaN Center

b) Fiber Optics Facilities

c) STEM Centre UM

5. To slot in a roundtable discussion between Keysight Technologies and academics from Faculties in similar areas;

6. Student engagement programme (September 2019 onwards – after semester break).
