Basic Fire Alarm Systems Overview Fire Alarm system မားသည မးမေလာငေစရန၊ လမားအသကအႏာရယ မဆး႐ႈးေစရနႏင ပစၥညးဥစၥာ

မဆး႐ႈးေစရန ကာကြယေပးသည။ မးစတငေလာငကြမးမႈက ႀကတငသႏငျခငး(fire detection)၊ ေဘးကငးရာသ႔ လြတေျမာကရနအတြက ႀကတငအသေပးႏငျခငး(early warning for evacuation)၊ ကယဆယေရးအဖြ႔ႏင မးသတ ဌာနသ႔ အလအေလာကအေၾကာငးၾကားေပးျခငး(emergency response team and public fire department notification) စသည လပငနးမားက ေဆာငရြကေပးႏငသည။

Fire alarm system မားသည မးစတငေလာငကြမးခါစတြင ႀကတငအသေပးႏငသည စနစတစခ ျဖစသည။ အေဆာကအဥ၊ ဥစၥာပစၥညးႏင လမား၏ အသကက မးေဘးမ ကာကြယရနအတြက တပဆငထားေလ ရသည စနစတစခ ျဖစသည။ Fire alarm system မားက အႀကးစား ႏင အလတစား အေဆာကအဥ မားတြင အမားဆး တပဆင ေလရသည။ စာသငေကာငး၊ ေဆး႐၊ ဟတယ၊ ႐း၊ ေရာပငးစငတာ၊ ေလဆပ၊ သေလာင႐ ႀကးမား စသည ေနရာမားတြင fire alarm system က မျဖစမေန တပဆငေလရသည။

အေဆာကအဥ တစလးခငးစရ လအပခကမားက လက၍ fire alarm system မားက ဒဇငးလပၾကသည။ အေဆာကအဥ အမးအစားကြျပားလင မးေလာငကြမးပ ကြျပားသည။ အခနးအတြငးရ ပစၥညးမား ကြျပားလင မးေလာငကြမးပ ကြျပားသည။ British Standards Institute (BSI) code မားႏင National Fire Alarm Code (NFPA) မားက မျငမး၍ ဒဇငးလပၾကသည။ Fire alarm and detection system သည အသက၊ အးအမ၊ စညးစမ၊ အေဆာကအဥမားက မးအႏရာယမ ကာကြယတားဆးေပးသည။

စနစတက မတပဆငထားသည fire alarm system မားေၾကာင မးေလာငကြမးသညအခါ အသက ဆးရႈးမႈမား ျဖစေပၚႏငသည။ Fire alarm system မားက ဒဇငးလပျခငး၊ တပဆငျခငး၊ ျပျပငထနးသမးျခငး လပငနး မားတြင ႏငငတကာမ အသအမတျပ စညးမဥးစညးကမးမား(codes and regulations)၊ ေဒသဆငရာ စညးမဥး စညးကမးမား(codes) ႏင fire equipment ထတလပသမား၏ အၾကေပး တကတြနးခကမား(recommendations) သတမတခကမား(specifications)အတငး အတအက လကနာ၍ မနကနစြာ တပဆငထားရန လအပသည။

Fire alarm system မားက အသကအးအမ၊ စညးစမဥစၥာမားကာကြယရန (protect life and property) အတြက တပဆငၾကသည။ တပဆငရသည ရညရြယခကမားမာ (က) detecting a fire at an early stage (ခ) alerting and evacuating occupants (ဂ) notifying the relevant personnel (ဃ) activating auxiliary functions e.g. smoke controls, lift homing etc (င) identifying and guiding fire fighters

၄.၁ ထညသြငး စဥးစားရမည အခကအလကမား (General Considerations) Fire alarm system က ဒဇငးလပရာတြင ေအာကပါအခကမားက ထညသြငး စဥးစားရမည။ (က) အသးျပမည controllers ၊ detectors ၊ manual pull stations (manual call points) ၊ notification

appliances (sounders and or visual strobes) အမးအစားမား (ခ) တပဆငပ၊ တပဆငနညးမား (method of installation) (ဂ) စညးမဥး စညးကမးမား(all national and local codes and regulations) (ဃ) တပဆငရနအတြက လအပသည ပစၥညးမား(materials required during installation) (င) အသးျပသမားက ေလကငသငၾကားေပးျခငး(operator training) ႏင (စ) ျပျပငထနးသမးမႈ လပငနးစဥမား(preventative maintenance procedures) တ႔ျဖစသည။

၄.၂ System Planning Fire alarm system တစခ စတင ဒဇငးလပရနအတြက ေအာကပါအခကအလကမားက ဥးစြာ ျပစျပငဆင

ထားရမည။ (၁) ကာကြယမည အေဆာကအဥ၏ အရြယအစား၊ ပသဏၭာနႏင အသးျပပ (size, shape, and use of the

building that will be protected)

(၂) ယခ ကာကြယရမည အပငးႏင ေနာငတစခန လအပမည ကာကြယမႈမား(amount of coverage that will be required, both now and in the future)

(၃) မးေလာငလင ေဆာငရြကရမည လပငနးမား (actions the system will perform in the event of a fire)

(၄) စနစေကာငးစြာ ပမန အလပလပေနရနအတြက ေဆာငရြကရမည ျပျပငထနးသမးမႈႏင အမးအစား(the type and amount of maintenance required to keep the system functioning properly)

၄.၃ Types of Fire Alarm Coverage သကဆငရာ အဖြ႔မားႏင ညႇႏငးၿပးေနာက ကာကြယလသညအဆင(degree of coverage)က

သတမတၾကသည။ လမား၏ အသကက ကာကြယရန ရညရြယ၍ ဒဇငးလပထားသည fire alarm system မားတြင ေအာကပါ အခကမား ပါဝငရမည။ (က) မးစတငေလာငသညႏငတစၿပငနက မးေလာငေနေၾကာငး detect လပႏငရန (detect a fire or

manual activation from a pull station)

(ခ) မးေလာငေနေၾကာငး alarm ထတေပးရန (initiate a fire alarm )

(ဂ) အေဆာကအဥအတြငးရလမား ေဘးလြတရာသ႔ ထြကခြာသြားရန လေလာကသည အခနေပးရန (provide a sufficient amount of time for the occupants to escape the building)

(ဃ) အေဆာကအဥအတြငး မးေလာငေနသည ေနရာက အတအက အသေပးရန၊ ေဖာျပေပးရန (indicate the location of the fire within the building)

အသကအႏရာယ ကာကြယရန(protection of life) ႏင ဥစၥာပစၥညးမားကာကြယရန(protection of property)အတြက fire alarm system မားက တပဆငၾကသည။ Fire alarm system တစခသည အထေရာကဆး ကာကြယမႈ ေပးႏငရနအတြက ေအာကပါ လပငနး(function)မားက ေဆာငရြကေပးႏငရမည။

(၁) မးစတငေလာငကြမးသညအခါ ခကခငးသႏငရမည။ (detect the presence of a fire)

(၂) အေဆာကအဥအတြငးရေနသမားက အသေပးႏငရမည။ (notify the occupants)

(၃) မးသတဌာနသ႔ central station connection မတစဆင အေၾကာငးၾကားေပးႏငရမည။ (notify the fire department, usually through a central station connection)

(၄) မးေဘးအႏရာယ ကငးေဝးေစေရးလပငနးမားျဖစေသာ တခါးမားဖြငေပးျခငး(door release)၊ smoke door မား ဖြငေပးျခငး စသညတ႔ ေဆာငရြကေပးႏငရမည။ (operate other fire safety functions, e.g., release magnetically held open smoke doors)

Heat detector မားႏင smoke detector မားသည အသးမားသည မးေလာငေၾကာငး အာ႐ခသည ႏငသည ကရယာ(fire detection device)မား ျဖစၾကသည။ Heat detector သည မးေလာငျခငးေၾကာင ျဖစေပၚလာမည အပ(heat)က detect လပရန သ႔မဟတ မးေလာငျခငးေၾကာင detector အနးတြင အပခန

႐တတရက ျမငတကလာျခငး(rapid increase of temperature)က သႏင(detect) ရနအတြက ဒဇငး လပထားသည ကရယာျဖစသည။

Smoke detector မားသည မးေလာငျခငးေၾကာင ျဖစေပၚလာမည မးခး(smoke)မားက သႏငရန ဒဇငး လပထားသညကရယာ ျဖစသည။ တပဆငထားသည ေနရာအနးတြင မးခးမား ျဖစေပၚလာပါက သ႔မဟတ ေရာကလာပါက အာ႐ခသ(detect)ႏငေအာင ဒဇငး လပထားသည ကရယာျဖစသည။ အသးမားသည smoke detector ႏစမးမာ ionization ႏင photoelectric အမးအစား တ႔ျဖစၾကသည။ သငေလာသည detector အမးအစားက ေရြးခယတတရန အလြနအေရးႀကးသည။

ေယဘယအားျဖင manual fire alarm box မားက အေဆာကအဥ၏ အထပတငးရ လထြကေပါကမား (exits)အားလးတြင တပဆငထားသည။ အေဆာကအဥတြင automatic sprinkler system တပဆငထားလင မးေလာငေနေၾကာငး သႏငရနအတြက water flow device မားက အသးျပႏငသည။

ကဆးမႈသည အခနမေရြးေရာကလာႏငေသာေၾကာင ဆး႐ႈးမား၊ ပကစးမႈမား ေလာနညးေစရန အတြက fire alarm system တပဆငထားျခငးျဖင အေကာငးဆး ျပငဆငထားသငသည။ လြနခသည ႏစေပါငး(၄၀)အတြငး fire alarm system နညးပညာမား တးတကေျပာငးလလာခသည။

Fire alarm system တပဆငရသည အေၾကာငးမားမာ (၁) မးေလာငသညအခါ အေဆာကအဥအတြငးရ ေနသမား ေဘးကငးရာသ႔ ထြကခြာသြားေစရန အခကေပးျခငး

(notify building occupants to take evasive action to escape the dangers of a hostile fire)

(၂) ေဘးလြတရာသ႔ လမား စနစတက ထြကခြာသြားေစရနအတြက ညြနၾကားခကမား ေၾကျငာေပးျခငး (summon organized assistance to initiate or assist in fire control activities)

(၃) မးေလာငေနေၾကာငး ႀကတငသႏငရနအတြက တပဆငထားျခငး(initiate automatic fire control & suppression systems & to sound alarm)

(၄) Fire control & suppression systems က ႀကးၾကပကြပကႏငရန တပဆငထားျခငး

(၅) Environmental ၊ utility and process controls စသည လပငနးကစၥမား(auxiliary functions)က အေထာက အကျပရန တပဆငထားျခငး ႏင

(၆) မးၿငမးသတသည စနစမား၊ မးခးထနးခပသည စနစမား၊ ေဆာငရြကခကမား(function) လပေဆာငခကမား က ေပါငးစညးရန တပဆငထားျခငး တ႔ျဖစသည။

Fire alarm system မားက manual fire alarm system ႏင automatic fire detection system ဟ၍ ႏစမး ႏစစားခြျခားထားသည။

(၁) Manual fire alarm systems မးေလာငလငတစဥးတစေယာကက အခကေပးေခါငးေလာငးတးျခငး၊ သေခာငးေခါကျခငးသည manual

fire alarm system ျဖစသည။

(၂) Automatic fire detection systems Fire detection device မားျဖင မးစေလာငသညအခါ (presence of a fire) ခကခငး အလအေလာက

Ionization detector မားသည မးေတာက ျဖစေပၚသညမး(flaming fire)က လငျမနစြာ အာ႐ခ (detect)ႏငသည။ Photoelectric detector သည မးေတာက မျဖစေပၚဘ တေငြ႔ေငြ႔ ေလာငကြမးသညမး (smoldering fire)က လငျမနစြာ သႏငသည။

သေအာငျပလပၿပး အခကေပးရန(initiate a signal) ျဖစသည။

ထ႔ေၾကာင automatic fire detection system သ႔မဟတ automatic fire alarm system ဟ ေရးသားလင ပ၍ မနကနသည။ ဤစာအပတြင automatic fire detection system အေၾကာငးကသာ အေသးစတ ေရးသား ေဖာျပထားသည။ Fire alarm system တပဆငထား႐ျဖင လးဝကာကြယၿပးသား ျဖစလမမည။ မးမေလာင ႏငဟ လြမားစြာ ထငမတၾကသည။

False alarm မားေၾကာင (က) မလလားအပသည မမနကနသည အခကေပးအသမား ျဖစေပၚလာ ႏငသည။ (create unwanted false

alarms)

(ခ) မးစေလာငတငး fire alarm system က ႀကတင အသေပးလမမည မဟတေပ။ (hazard does not warrant alarm or detection)

(ဂ) Fire alarm system ေၾကာင လးဝမးမေလာငႏင၊ ရာႏႈနးျပည ႀကတငကာကြယႏငလမမညဟ မယဆသငပါ။ (installation offers little or no protection)

Fire alarm system တပဆငရနအတြက သတမတခကမား (၁) လေပါငး အေယာက(၃၀၀)ထက ပမားသည အေဆာကအဥမား အတြကသာ fire alarm system တပဆင

ထားရန လအပသည။

(၂) ထြကေပါကရသညေနရာ (ေျမညထပ လထြကေပါကက ဆလသည။)ထက ပျမငသညအထပမား (ပထမ ထပမ စ၍ အေပၚအထပမား)တြင အနညးဆး လ (၅၀)ေကာရမသာ fire alarm system တပဆငရနလအပသည။ အထးသျဖင အထပျမင အေဆာကအဥမားတြင ပ၍ လအပသည။

(၃) လမား အေဆာကအဥ ျပငပသ႔ အလြယတက တက႐က ထြကခြာသြားႏငလင မလအပပါ။ (No requirement if occupant can exit unit to outside directly)

(၄) မးသတသမားမား ဝငေရာကရန ခကခလင လအပသည။

ေအာကပါ အေဆာကအဥမားတြင မရမျဖစလအပသည။ (က) ေျမေအာကထပမား၊ ေျမေအာကခနးမား(underground buildings)

(ခ) အထပျမင အေဆာကအဥမား(high-rise buildings)

(ဂ) ဆနးၾကယရႈပေထြးသည အေဆာကအဥမား(special amusement buildings)

Automatic sprinkler system တပဆငထားလင manual pull station မား တပဆငရန မလအပေပ။ Fire alarm system မားသည မးစတငေလာငကြမးခါစတြင ႀကတင အသေပးႏငသည စနစတစခ ျဖစသည။ အေဆာကအဥ၊ ဥစၥာပစၥညးႏင လမား၏ အသကက မးေဘးမ ကာကြယရနအတြက တပဆင ထား ေလရသည စနစတစချဖစသည။ Fire alarm system မားက အႀကးစား ႏင အလတစား အေဆာကအဥ မားတြင အမားဆး တပဆင ေလရသည။ စာသငေကာငး၊ ေဆး႐၊ ဟတယ၊ ႐း၊ ေရာပငးစငတာ၊ ေလဆပ၊ သေလာင႐ ႀကးမား စသည ေနရာမားတြင fire alarm system က မျဖစမေန တပဆငေလရသည။

၄.၄ Design and Installation Standards • NFPA 72 က standard အျဖစ အေဆာကအဥ အားလးနးပါး အသးျပၾကသည။ • NFPA 72 သည fire alarm and detection system မားအတြက လကကငထားရမည စညးကမးခကမား

ျဖစသည။ • NFPA 72 မ ညႊနးထားသည တျခားေသာ standard မားကလညး လကနာရမည။

NFPA 72 မျဖစမေန လကနာမည standard ျဖစသည။

Fire alarm နညးပညာ(technology)မားသည ႐းရငးသည(simple) ဇနတစခ(single zone)တညးသာ ပါဝငသည relay က အေျခခ၍ တညေဆာကထားသည system မားမ logic circuit မားျဖင ပ႐ဂရမလပႏငသည စနစမားအျဖစ အထ တျဖညးျဖညး တးတကေျပာငးလလာသည။ ယေန႔ေခတ system မားတြင ရႈပေထြး ခကခသည ေဆာဝလမား(sophisticated microprocessor-based software) က အသးျပထားသည။

Main controller မားသည system တစခလးက ထနးခပ၍ ဥးေႏာကကသ႔ ေဆာငရြကေပးသည။ System အတြက ေပးသည ဓာတအား(power) ႏင input မားက ေစာငၾကည(monitor) ၿပး အမးမးေသာ outputs circuit မားက control လပေပးသည။ တျခားေသာ ေဆာငရြကခက(function)မားကလညး ပ႐ဂရမလပထားသည အတငး ေဆာငရြက ေပးသည။

Heat detector မား၊ smoke detector မား စသည automatic detection device မားက ေရြးခယရာတြင အာ႐ခသ(detect)ႏငသည အကြာအေဝး(level of coverage)က သတျပေရြးခယရန လအပသည။ အခနးအတြငး သ႔မဟတ အေဆာကအဥအတြငး detector မား တပဆငထား႐ျဖင မးေလာငလင ႀကသလမမည မားယြငးစြာ ယဆ တတၾကသည။ မးစတငေလာငသည ေနရာသည smoke detector သ႔မဟတ heat detect အလမး မမသည ေနရာတြင ျဖစေနပါက အာ႐ခသ(detect)ႏငလမမညမဟတေပ။ တစနညးအားျဖင detect မလပႏငသညေနရာတြင မးစတင ေလာငကြမးပါက မသႏငပါ။ ထ႔ေၾကာင ကာကြယလသညေနရာအားလးက လးဝ ျခငမေအာင smoke detector ႏင heat detect မား က တပဆငထားရန လအပသည။

Sprinkler မား တပဆငထားသညေနရာတြင automatic fire detector မား တပဆငထားရန မလဟ ယဆတတၾကသည။ မးေလာငေနေၾကာငး အထေရာကဆး ႀကတငသႏငရန(effectively detect) အတြက ေနရာ

အေဆာကအဥ အတြငးရေနသမား မးေလာငေနေၾကာငး အသေပးရန(notifying the occupants) ႏင ေဘးကငးရာသ႔ လြတေျမာကစြာ ထြကခြာသြားရန(emergency evacuation)အတြက ကယေလာငသညအသျဖင အသေပး ေၾကျငာေပးရမည။ Horn မား၊ bell မား ၊ siren မား၊ strobe light မား ၊ speaker မား စသည notifying appliance မားသည သတေပးရန သ႔မဟတ အသေပးရနအတြက အမားဆး အသးျပၾကသည ကရယာမား ျဖစၾကသည။ ထပစၥညး(notifying appliance) မားသည detection ကရယာမားကသ႔ပင အေရးႀကးသည ပစၥညးမားျဖစသည။ Notifying appliance မားက စနစတက ေနရာခထားရန လအပသည။ အေဆာကအဥအတြငး ေနရာအႏ႔အျပားမ ၾကားႏငေအာင စပကာ(speaker)မား တပဆငထားမည ေနရာမား က စနစတက ေရြးခယသငသည။

Fire alarm system အားလးသည NFPA 72 ၏ လအပခကမားက လကနာရမည။ NFPA 72- Fire Alarm and Signaling Code 2010 သည လကရအသးျပေနသည code ျဖစသည။ 2010 code တြင အခနးေပါငး (၂၉)ခနး ပါဝငသည။ NFPA 72 က National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code ဟ၍လညး ေခၚဆေလရသည။

(စ) System ၏ အေျခခလပငနးမား သ႔မဟတ ေဆာငရြကမႈမား(basic function of the system)

(ဆ) လကနာရမည စညးမဥးစညးကမးႏင စမား(applicable fire alarm system codes and standards)

(ဇ) တျခားေသာ မးေဘးကာကြယေရးစနစမားႏင အျပနအလနခတဆကရန (other fire protection systems that must be interfaced)

Fire alarm system တစခက ဒဇငးမလပခင အေဆာကအဥ အမးအစား၊ အသးျပပ၊ ေလာငႏငသည မးအမးအစား စသညတ႔က ေလလာဆနး စစရန လအပသည။ Fire alarm system ဒဇငနာမားႏင ႏးေႏာတငပင သငသည။ အေဆာကအဥ ပငရငမားသည မးေဘးကာကြယရန၊ အသကမဆး႐ႈးေစရန မရညမနးဘ မျဖစမေန တပဆငရမညဆသည ၫႊနၾကားခကမားက လကနာရနအတြကသာ တပဆငၾကသည။ Codes and standards တ႔ႏင ကကည႐မျဖင မးေဘးကာကြယေရး ပနးတငမား (fire protection goals) ရရလမမည မဟတေပ။

၄.၅.၁ Life Safety Protection အမခနးမား(apartments)၊ ဟတယမား(hotels)၊ ကြနဒမနယမား(condominiums) စသည လေနအမမား (residential)မားတြင တပဆငမည fire alarm system မားက အသကေဘးမ ကာကြယမႈမား(life safety protection) ထေရာကေစရန ဒဇငးလပၾကသည။ အေဆာကအဥအတြငး ရေနသမား(occupants) ၏ အသကေဘး မ ကာကြယေပးႏငမႈ(life safety) ဆသည အဓပၸာယက မးေလာငေနေၾကာငး ႀကတငအသေပးျခငး(early warning) ဟ အဓပၸာယ ဖြငဆႏငသည။

Fire alarm system သည ေကာငးစြာ ကာကြယေပးႏင႐မသာမက တညၿငမသည system ျဖစရန လအပသည။ Fire alarm system သည life safety protection ျဖစေစရမည။ ယၾကညစတခရမႈ(reliability) ျမငမားရမည။ တညၿငမ(stable)ရမည။ အေဆာကအဥအတြငးရေနသမား(occupants)၏ စတထတြင လျခမႈ ေပးႏငစြမး ရသညဟ ထငျမငႏငေစရမည။

ထ႔အျပင Life Safety Code-2009 edition ႏင Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) လအပခကအရ

နားမၾကားႏငသည လမားအတြက လပစစမးေရာငျဖင မးေလာငေနေၾကာငး သသာေအာင အခကေပးသည ကရယာမား တပဆငထားရမည။ လမားေဘးကငးရာသ႔ ထြကသြားရန အခကေပးအသ( evacuation signal)သည တျခားေသာ အသမားႏင မတေစဘ သသာထငရားသညအသ ျဖစရမည။ ထအသမးႏင တညသညအသက မညသည ေနရာတြငမ အသးမျပရ။

၄.၅.၂ Property Protection Detector အေရအတြကႏင အမးအစားက အေျခခ၍ fire alarm system အမးအစားက ေရြးခယ ၾကသည။ ပငရငမား၏ ရညရြယခက(owner's property protection goals)၊ အေဆာကအဥတနဖး(value of the property) ႏင ပငရင၀ယယထားသည မးအာမခ(fire insurance)၏ လအပခကမားက မတည၍ ေယဘယအားျဖင တနဖးမမားသည ေနရာမားတြင heat detector မားက အသးျပၾကသည။ Fire alarm system ၏ အဓက တာဝနသည မးေဘးအႏရာယမ ႀကတငကာကြယေပးရန ျဖစသည။

မးအာမခ(fire insurance)ႏင မးကာကြယေရးပညာရင(fire service professional)မားက ေရြးခယ ထားသည အခနး အခ႕ႏင လသြားလမးမားတြင sprinkler head မား တပဆငထားသည automatic sprinkler system က ေကာငးစြာ အကာအကြယ ေပးႏငသည system အျဖစ ယဆလမမည မဟတေပ။ တစဥးတစေယာက အေနျဖင detector အခ႕ တပဆငထားသည fire alarm system က ျပညစသည(complete) fire alarm system အျဖစ သတမတေကာငး သတမတႏငသည။

အေဆာကအဥ ကာကြယျခငး(property protection)၏ အဓက တာဝနမာ မးေဘးေၾကာင ျဖစေပၚမည ဆး႐ႈးမႈမားက ေလာနညးေစရန(reduce property losses due to fire) ျဖစသည။ မညသည fire alarm system မဆ စတအခရဆးႏင ရာႏႈနးျပညကာကြယမႈ (100% coverage) ေပးႏငေသာ automatic detection စနစ ျဖစရမည။ Fire alarm system မားသည မးၿငမးသတေပးႏငသည စနစ(fire suppression system) မား

၄.၅.၃ Mission Protection "Mission protection" ဆသညမာ ကမၸဏတစခ သ႔မဟတ အဖြ႕အစညးတစခသည မးေလာငကြမး ခရၿပးေနာက ဆကလကရပတည လပကငေနႏငေအာင ကာကြယထားႏငျခငးက ဆလသည။ အေဆာကအဥ တစခလး သ႔မဟတ သတမတထားသညေနရာ အစတအပငးတစခက မးမေလာငေအာင ကာကြယျခငး ျဖစသည။ ထေနရာသည လပငနးမား ဆကလက လညပတႏငေအာင အေရးႀကးသည ေနရာ ျဖစသည။ ထ႔ေၾကာင လငျမနစြာ detect လပႏငရမည။ Flame detector မား သ႔မဟတ aspirating (active air sampling) detector မား စသည smoke detection အမးအစားမားက အသးျပၾကသည။ မးေလာငလင ခကခငး သႏငသည smoke detector အမးအစားမား တပဆငထားရမည။

၄.၅.၄ သမငးဝင ပစၥညးမားက ကာကြယျခငး (Heritage Protection) သမငးဝင ပစၥညးမား၊ အေဆာကအဥမားက မးေဘးမ ကာကြယျခငးလပငနးသည ခကခသည အလပ ျဖစသည။ သမငးဝငပစၥညးမား ေပာကပကသြားပါက အစားထးရန မျဖစႏငေပ။ အဓက အခက(၂)ခက ပါဝငသည။ ႀကတင သေအာငလပျခငး(early detection) ႏင ကာကြယျခငး(preservation) ျဖစသည။ ျပတကမား၊ သမငးဝင ပစၥညးမား ျပသရာ အခနးမားတြင fire alarm system က တပဆငထားရန လအပေသာလညး fire alarm system ႏင သကဆငသည ပစၥညးမားျဖစေသာ smoke detector ၊ heat detector စသညတ႔က ျမငသာသည ေနရာတြင တပဆင မထားလၾကေပ။
