2008 Electrodes F 3000 Characterization of GdBaCo2O5+δ Cathode for IT-SOFCs. — The title compound is a promising cathode candidate for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells. It exhibits good chemical compatibility with the Sm0.2Ce0.8O1.9 electrolyte and has a con- ductivity of 512—290 S/cm in the temperature range 500—800 °C. The thermal ex- pansion coefficient is about 20.1·10 -6 K -1 between 30 and 900 °C in air.
