小一中文課漢語拼音課JP1 Chinese – Hanyu Pinyin Class

• 開學第一周至第七周，安排約7星期密集式漢語拼音教學，教授全套漢語拼音方案，主要教材是《起步學拼音》，並配合相關的漢語拼音工作紙，以加强和鞏固學生所學的知識。教師進行漢語拼音教學的同時，也教授高頻漢字，以《高頻漢字表》和《高效識字》為輔助教材。

• To strengthen students’ knowledge of Hanyu Pinyin, teacherswill arrange an intensive Hanyu Pinyin course during the first 7weeks of school. The main teaching material is First Step toPinyin together with supplementary Hanyu Pinyin worksheets.Teachers will also teach frequently-used Chinese words usingthe High Frequency Chinese Word List and Effective Teachingand Learning of Chinese Characters.

• 第八周開始至學期末開展中文科讀本教學，教材為《現代中國語文》第一、二冊。由於一至七周進行漢語拼音教學的關係，《現代中國語文》第一、二冊的内容教師將會有重點地教授。

• Starting from Week 8 until the end of the 1stterm, Chinese textbooks including ModernChinese Language Book 1 & 2 will be adopted inthe teaching. Since Hangyu Pinyin was taughtduring the first seven weeks, only the highlightsin Modern Chinese Language Book 1 & 2 will becovered.

• 「大家來說普通話」活動由母語為普通話之老師帶領同學進行，通過各種趣味性活動，來提昇學生的普通話表達能力，改善學生普通話發音。

• ‘Let’s Talk in Putonghua’ is a campaign led by native Putonghua teachers to enhance students’ Putonghua speaking ability and to improve their pronunciation through interesting activities.

大家來說普通話活動‘Let’s Talk in Putonghua’

• 學生可在小息時間帶同「大家來說普通話」小冊子參與此項活動。

• 每次參與可獲印章及啪八達通卡乙次，每星期結算一次，每班參與最多者可獲頒發彩帶成為普通話大使。

• Students can bring their ‘Let’s Talk in Putonghua’ booklets to participate in the activity during recesses.

• Participating students will receive a stamp and are allowed to beep their Octopus card once as rewards. Students who participate the most in a week in each class will be the Putonghua Ambassadors.

文學經典背誦活動Chinese Literature Recitation

• 由07-08年度中文科開設文學經典課，學生每學年學習18首經典篇章，全學年共36首。

• 中文組製作6本「沐在文學經典中」小冊子予小一至小六學生。

• Started from 2007-2008, students had to study 18 famous literary pieces each term (36 pieces a year in total).

• A set of 6 Enjoy Literature booklets issued by the Chinese Department is given out to JP1-JP6 students.

文學經典背誦冊子Chinese Literature Recitation Booklets

• 冊子包括《三字經》(一、二年級)、《增廣賢文》(三、四年級)、《論語》(五、六年級)及唐詩(各級)；唐詩每學期6首，全年共12首。

• The booklets include Three-Character Classic (JP1-2), Ancient Chinese Proverbs Collection (JP3-4), Analects (JP5-6) and Tang Poetry (JP1-6). Students will recite 6 Tang poems in each term (12 poems a year in total).

文學經典背誦評估方法Chinese Literature Recitation Assessment Method• 以背誦率為評分標準，每背誦3篇經典，並有家長簽名，即可得1分，

依此類推，完成15篇經典背誦，即可得滿分5分。

• Students get 1 point by reciting 3 famous literary pieces with the parent’s signature. A total of 5 points will be given to students who have recited 15 literary pieces.

• 由14-15年度中文科開設閱讀課。每週1節閱讀課，學生在老師的指導下，全年閱讀4-10本中文圖書。

• 閱讀課堂內容豐富，例如：閱讀心得分享、講故事、角色扮演、問答比賽、趣味工作紙、閱讀報告等。

• Starting from 2014-2015, Reading Class will be conducted once aweek. Students have to read 4-10 Chinese books a year.

• The Reading Class includes book sharing, storytelling, role playing, Q & AChallenge, fun worksheets, book reports, etc.
