红烧肉是上海著名的家常菜。虽然很普通，可是要做的好吃也不呢么容易。 我妈妈做的红烧肉特别好吃。下面我就公开一下她的秘方：

1. 肉要五花肉。一定要呢中一层皮，一层肥，一层瘦，在一层肥， 又一参瘦的真真五成五花肉。这一步非常重要。

2. 每块肉要切成一寸半长的块。3. 先把肉放到热水里烧一下，再拿出来。4. 把水倒掉然后锅里放油放葱姜。炒热油

锅。5.把肉放入油锅抄至金黄色。6.加酱油。一般生抽，一般老抽。再加一

块冰糖。加黄酒。7.盖上锅盖烧45分钟。注意每十分中翻一

翻，不要烧焦。8.吃前再撒一点葱花。9.可以吃啦！

"Hongshaorou” is the quintessential Shang-hainese household dish. Although it is ordinary, making it perfectly is not so easy. My mother makes delicious “Hongshaorou,” and I would like to share her secret recipe:

1. Choosing the right materials is the most important step. The pork needs to be genuinely “five layered”: skin, fat, lean meat, fat, and lean meat.2. Cut the pork into 1½-inch pieces.3. If you are looking for an experience and great Italian food I recommend Nica Tratto-ria. The restaurant, on 84th and First, is small and cute with a head chef that will come out and talk to you and make you feel as if you are in your Italian grandmother’s kitchen. The food is authentic and fresh and the place is famous for their gnocchis and sauces made by hand. It is a bit on the expensive side so make sure your parents pick up the check because it is worth it!
