1. 每天 Měitiān ， every day

我每天上网作功课 Wǒ měitiān shàngwǎng zuò gōng kè. I do homework online everyday.

2.半 bàn,half

我每天六点半回家 Wǒ měitiān liù diǎn bàn huíjiā. I go home at 6:30 everyday.

3. 起床 qǐchuáng,get up

我每天八点起床 Wǒ měitiān bādiǎn qǐchuáng. I get up at 8:00 everyday.

4. 大学 dàxué, college

他来美国上大学 Tā lái měiguó shàng dàxué He came to US to attend college.

5. 生活 shēnghuó, life

美国的生活很忙 Měiguó de shēnghuó hěn máng. American life style is very busy.

6. 学期 xuéqī, semester

这个学期我有三门课 . Zhè ge xuéqi wǒ yǒu sān mén kè. I have three classes this semester.

7. 门 mén,M.W. for school courses

这个学期你上几门课？ Zhè ge xuéqi nǐ shàng jǐmén kè? How many classes are you taking this semester?

8. 点 diǎn, o’clock

我九点上课，两点下课 Wǒ jiǔdiǎn shàngkè, liǎngdiǎn xiàkè. I go to class at 9:00 andmy class dismisses at 2:00.

9. 睡觉 shuìjiào, sleep

我晚上十点睡觉 Wǒ wǎnshàng shí diǎn shuìjiào. I sleep at 10:00pm.

10. 就 jiù, as early as

她八点就睡觉了 Tā bā diǎn jiù shuìjiào le. She sleeps at 8:00.

11. 才 cái, not until

他十一点才睡觉。 Tā shí yī diǎn cái shuìjiào. He did not sleep until 11:00.

12. 刻 kè, a quarter

现在是五点三刻 Xiànzài shì wǔ diǎn sānkè. It is 5:45 now.

13. 分 fēn, minute

我们六点十分回家 Wǒmen liù diǎn shífēn huíjiā We go home at 6:10.

14. 然后 ránhòu, then

他去上课 , 然后，回家吃饭Tā qù shàngkè, ranhòu, huíjiā chīfàn He went to class and then went home to eat.

15. 图书馆 túshūguǎn, library

学校图书馆在哪儿？ Xuéxiào de túshūguǎn zài nǎr? Where is the school library?

16. 下午 xiàwǔ, afternoon

明天下午你有事吗？ Míngtiān xiàwǔ nǐ yǒu shì ma ? Are you busy tomorrow afternoon?

17. 喜欢 xǐhuān, like

你喜欢吃什么？ Nǐ xǐhuān chī shénme? What do you like to eat?

18. 打球 dǎqiú, play ball

我每天下午跟朋友去打球 Wǒ měitiān xiàwǔ gēn péngyǒu qù dǎqiú. I play ball with friends every afternoon.

19. 写 xiě, to write

写中文难不难？ Xiě zhōngwén nán bù nán ??Is writing Chinese difficult?

20. 信 Xìn letter

他给我写了很多信。Tā gěi wǒ xiě le hěn duō xìn.He wrote me a lot of letters.

21 电子邮件 diànzǐ yóujiàn, email

我的电子邮件太多了 Wǒde diànzǐ yóujiàn tài duō le ◦I have too many emails.

22. 地址 dìzhǐ, address

你家的地址是什么？Nǐ jiā de dìzhǐ shì shénme?What’s your home address?

23.祝 zhù,wish

祝你生日快乐Zhù nǐ shēngrì kuàilè.Wish you happy birthday
