”In conclusion, both exercise and diet reduce VAT. Despite a larger effect of diet on total body weight loss, exercise tends to have superior effects in reducing VAT. Finally, total body weight loss does not necessarily reflect changes in VAT and
may represent a poor marker when evaluating benefits of lifestyle-interventions.”

ENFOQUE REDUCCIONISTA

− Personalizado− Progresivo− Por objetivos
Seguimiento: aumentar adherencia a dieta y ejercicio
Priorizar adherencia:− Aspectos laborales y familiares− Socioeconómicos− Intentar adaptar a preferencias
personales− 'Feedback' de mejorías objetivadas
![Page 94: Clase Ejercicio y patologías Rehabilitación UCM](https://reader031.vdocuments.pub/reader031/viewer/2022030317/5a65e38c7f8b9a3d248b49d7/html5/thumbnails/94.jpg)

¿QUÉ EJERCICIO PRESCRIBIR?
Multiarticulares: aumentan gasto calórico Analíticos: mejoran lípidos intramusculares
y resistencia insulina. Excéntricos: inducen más daño muscular
(ojo inflamación crónica) y mejoran resistencia a insulina
Fuerza>Resistencia. Óptimo: Combinación.

Ejercicio de resistencia a combinar: − Mejores resultados a alta intensidad
− >70% VO2máx o FCM

Generar hipertrofia:

Lesiones detienen progresos y generan rechazo.
