Quality Management

Independent Quality Firm (IQF) All costs to be included in the project bid price.

Quality Management Plan (QMP) Shall specifically define the various level of testing / inspection / frequencies / documentation

ODOT’s 2013 Specification Book and ODOT’s 2013 Manual of Procedures Expected to be released in early 2013

DBT/Contractor 100% responsible to perform all Quality Control operations required for the work.

DBT/Contractor Quality Control staff is prohibited from performing any production work, including supervision.

IQF 100% project construction inspection

100% project documentation

100% confirmation the DBT/Contractor is adhering to their Quality Management Plan.

Minimum Quality Check Points (QCP’s) will be required and identified in the Scope.

The DBT will be required to utilize the various ODOT QA/QC Specifications on the project.

The various testing and sampling responsibilities are still being defined.
