FIXED PRICE

This type of agreement means “fixed

scope - fixed price”. It’s mainly used for the

projects with a clear feature list and a

high-level technical documentation. It is a

good way to start a cooperation and check

how the team works on a small fixed price

assignment. For large projects “Time &

material” or “Dedicated team” contracts

are preferable.

TIME & MATERIAL

CONTRACT

"Time & Material" business model is

usually used for Scrum projects. In this

case, a team makes weekly reports based

on the hours spent on the project. This

way a client receives bills only according

to the time spent on his/her project.

"Time & Material" cooperation works

when it's difficult to estimate costs in

advance, e.g. for long-term assignments or

projects with an unclear documentation.

DEDICATED TEAM

For large and long-term projects

"Dedicated Team" business model is the

most efficient type of cooperation. A

dedicated team is usually created

according to client’s requirements and its

staff remains unchanged during a long

period. This helps to keep an experience
