• One night switched off on August 5th 2004• 26.32 million passengers in the year of 2005 。• Mile stone breakthrough to 30 million
passengers in the year of 2007
• At 17.8% growth rate on annual passengers
• FEDEX Asia Hub at GBIA and the Expansion on Terminal one ( 150,000 ㎡) will be fully on production In the year end of 2008
2. Issues & Challenges of GBIA
• A high effective operation on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
• To satisfied both the customers’ & ourselves’ critical service demands
• To meet the requirement of the customers’complex and diverse demands
• To constantly striving to improve performance levels, operating efficiencies, and profitability.

• Check-in, FIDS, CUSS, Baggage handling, and even the car parking system etc, depend on IT
• To provide a more effective, secure, less costly , comfortable airport depend on IT
• The investment of IT leads the cost reduction to the airport and its tenants

• Innovation and investment does not necessarily mean additional cost or complexity
