Community Church At Sun Village

A Service of Praise and Worship

March 21, 2016 9And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due

season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10Therefore, as

we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to

those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:9-10 NKJV

Organist Noreen Nelson

Song Leader Pastor Larry Goding

“A Real Christian is active, not inactive; searching, hot

hiding; ready, not waiting; vocal and visible; not hidden

under a basket.” David Jeremiah

Call to Worship and Prayer Jim Siken

Worship Through Song

“Come Let Us Worship And Bow Down”

“Joy in Serving Jesus”

Worship Through Word Donna Goding 4There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5There

are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6And

there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God

who works all in all. 7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one

for the profit of all: 8for to one is given the word of

wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of

knowledge through the same Spirit, 9to another faith by

the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same

Spirit, 10to another the working of miracles, to another

prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another

different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of

tongues. 11But one and the same Spirit works all these things,

distributing to each one individually as He wills. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NKJV

Come Let Us Worship And Bow Down

Come Let us worship and bow down,

let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker.

Come Let us worship and bow down,

let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker.

For He is our God,

and we are the people of His pasture,

and the sheep of His hand,

just the sheep of His hand.

There is joy in serving Jesus

There is joy in serving Jesus

As I journey on my way,

Joy that fills my heart with praises,

Every hour and every day.

There is joy, joy, joy in serving Jesus,

Joy that throbs within my heart;

Every moment, every hour,

As I draw upon His power, there is joy, joy,

Joy that never shall depart.

There is joy in serving Jesus,

Joy that triumphs over pain;

Fills my heart with heaven's music,

Till I join the glad refrain.

There is joy in serving Jesus,

As I walk alone with God;

'Tis the joy of Christ my Saviour,

Who the path of suffering trod.

There is joy in serving Jesus,

Joy amid the darkest night,

For I've learned the wondrous secret,

And I'm walking in the light.

Give Of Your Best To The Master

Give of your best to the Master;

Give of the strength of your youth.

Throw your soul’s fresh, glowing ardor

Into the battle for truth.

Jesus has set the example,

Dauntless was He, young and brave.

Give Him your loyal devotion;

Give Him the best that you have.

Give of your best to the Master;

Give of the strength of your youth.

Clad in salvation’s full armor,

Join in the battle for truth.

Give of your best to the Master;

Give Him first place in your heart.

Give Him first place in your service;

Consecrate every part.

Give, and to you will be given;

God His beloved Son gave.

Gratefully seeking to serve Him,

Give Him the best that you have.

Give of your best to the Master;

Naught else is worthy His love.

He gave Himself for your ransom,

Gave up His glory above.

Laid down His life without murmur,

You from sin’s ruin to save.

Give Him your heart’s adoration;

Give Him the best that you have.

Family of God

I'm so glad I'm a part of the Family of God,

I've been washed in the fountain,

Cleansed by His Blood!

Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,

For I'm part of the family,

The Family of God.

You will notice we say "brother and sister" 'round here,

It's because we're a family and these are so near;

When one has a heartache, we all share the tears,

And rejoice in each victory in this family so dear.

From the door of an orphanage to the house of the King,

No longer an outcast, a new song I sing;

From rags unto riches, from the weak to the strong,

I'm not worthy to be here,

But PRAISE GOD! I belong!

Take My Life And Let It Be

Take my life and let it be

Consecrated, Lord, to Thee.

Take my moments and my days,

Let them flow in endless praise.

Take my hands and let them move

At the impulse of Thy love.

Take my feet and let them be

Swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice and let me sing,

Always, only for my King.

Take my lips and let them be

Filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold,

Not a mite would I withhold.

Take my intellect and use

Every pow’r as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will and make it Thine,

It shall be no longer mine.

Take my heart, it is Thine own,

It shall be Thy royal throne.

Take my love, my Lord, I pour

At Thy feet its treasure store.

Take myself and I will be

Ever, only, all for Thee.

COMMUNITY CHURCH AT SUN VILLAGE

IN ACTION – A WARM WELCOME

It is our privilege to worship the Lord

our God freely without intimidation or

fear of opposition. The psalmist

exhorts, “Come, let us sing to the

Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the

Rock of our salvation. Let us come

before His presence with

thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms…Oh

come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the

Lord our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of

His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.”

Let us, therefore, enter into the worship service in a spirit of

reverence, giving honor to Almighty God. It is our hope that

each of us here today will experience a very meaningful time of

worship and that your Christian life will be enriched by having

joined with us today.

If you are a visitor with us today, we welcome you and pray

that you will receive a blessing from being here.

Missions – Ecuador

Dave and Debbie Johnson continue with

their e3 Partners ministry in Ecuador. On

their most recent trip to Ecuador they found

that:

Some of the churches had small numbers of adults others

had large numbers but they all had lots of children!

The churches in the mountains typically had fewer people

because the persecution of new believers by those

following the local traditions was more pronounced.

There was great interest in the water filters of sand and

gravel that could be built for the villages.

They are working on stronger partnerships with the Bible

League and Multiplication Network in training church

planters.

Training is greatly needed. They are using the First Steps

training program.

Persecuted Church – India

In February this year, a warning to Christians from a Hindu

radical group was posted at a train station in India. The notice

warns all Christians that their faith is a problem to the mission

for “homecoming” — to bring all people back to the Hindu

faith. The intent of notice is to inform Christians that there will

be no tolerance for Christians and Bible. It demands that

Christians either convert to Hinduism or “leave soon.”

The notice states that the group will eliminate all Christians

from India by 2021 in favor of an entirely Hindu nation and are

even willing to die to create a unified India.

World, National, and State Concerns

As we continue with the primary voting around the country,

pray that God will have His way and that the individual of His

choice will find favor with the voters.

Pray for those families who have lost property and loved ones

in the recent violent weather conditions and fires around the

country.

Pray faithfully for President Obama during these final months

of his second term. Pray for openness to accept guidance from

God as he deals with the multitude of issues facing this nation.

[1 Timothy 2:1-4].

Pray for our National and State legislators. Pray for the

congress as they deal with critical issues facing our nation.

Pray for unity across the country, that God’s will and purpose

might be accomplished in our land. Pray for all those who are

in leadership over the political matters facing our national,

state, and local governments.

Pray for the members of the courts around the country as they

deliberate on matters of importance to our nation’s wellbeing.

Pray earnestly for a revival in this land, that Christians will

boldly take a stand for their Christian beliefs. Pray that those

who would impose situations on us that are contrary to the Law

of God would be stopped.

Pray about the unrest within our land, much of which comes

from the economy and related issues both locally and

nationally.

Pray for those in Law Enforcement throughout the country.

Pray for God’s intervention to stop the constant attacks against

police and those charged with keeping law and order in our

cities.

Pray faithfully for the safety of our nation as we live with the

reality of terrorist threats and activity. Pray for those who are

responsible for monitoring those threats.

Pray for protection of our troops as they serve around the

world to keep and maintain peace. Pray for wisdom for those

who provide leadership for military operations worldwide.

Pray for God’s direction in the US involvement in the Middle

East and specifically Israel. Pray for President Obama, our

legislators, and military officials who are involved in making

decisions regarding Israel.

Pray for the land of Israel for her protection, her leaders and

for those who would threaten her sovereignty as a nation. Do

not cease to pray for peace around the world. Pray for Mr.

Netanyahu as he serves his nation for another term. Pray about

the relations between the United States and Israel.
