Engineering Assistant to the President

Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

Engineering related:

Attend daily, weekly and monthly meetings, issuing the agendas and recording the minutes/actions.Review project status with engineers

Participate in brainstorming sessions

Compile engineering and other data for use by other staff members.

Assist in the review and preparation of engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports for customers

Finding new supplier and negotiating cooperation agreements

Organizational:

Product Design Engineer

(Industrial designer)

Responsibilities:

Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:

Developing concepts with a strong idea of how they might be produced

Sketching, modeling and prototyping ideas, physically and digitally

Understanding and selecting different materials, their costs and properties

Understanding, selecting and implementing different production methods

Testing and reiterating designs, possibly through user-testing

Working on User Interfaces design with clients (Apple iOS)

Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple stages, including budgeting and costing

Works closely with a wide variety of internal and external customers to define, meet, or exceed design parameters.

Provides technical recommendations for product line and identifies areas of opportunity for new products based on market direction and customer needs.

Communicates technical concepts and information clearly and effectively through formal and informal meetings, documents, brain storming sessions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Five or more years of relevant mechanical product design experience including exposure to and proficiency in multiple engineering disciplines.

Mechanical Engineer

(Product development)

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly creative, self-starter that is capable of independent thought and is willing to put in the effort to make a project successful. The Mechanical Engineer will be involved with the design and development of highly innovative medical devices

Responsibilities and Duties:

Design, develop, engineer and carry products into manufacturing.

Will work in close collaboration with the Industrial designer.

Assist in the development of quality standards and implement with manufacturing staff.

Manage projects from beginning to end, ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget.

Create documents for reporting progress, documentation of design cycle, and analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Three or more years of relevant mechanical engineering experience including exposure to and proficiency in multiple engineering disciplines.

Advanced knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes highly preferred.

Proficiency with 3-D modeling is required (Pro-E strongly preferred, SolidWorks).

Good understanding of design for plastics injection molding and metal components.

Create a database driven application that

Implementing the look-and-feel of new websites and related materials for a wide range of products and industries

Maintaining and enhancing existing websites

Creating sitemaps, wireframes, and visual design comps for web projects

Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to implement the designs you and other team members create

Evaluation of product integration with CMS platforms (primarily WordPress, Drupal)

User Interface Designer

(Artist - Creator)

Responsibilities:

Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:

Design clean compelling UIs and menus mainly for medical products as well as innovative consumer and industrial products, that are easy to understand and use

Apply and maintain a consistent art style throughout the entire project interface

Work closely with design and technology teams to conceptualize and prototype interface functionality, look and feel

Create conceptual wireframes, user flow diagrams, and high-fidelity prototypes to solidify design direction and plans

Identify priorities and gaps in current designs, and contribute/iterate creative solutions

Maintain familiarity with the medical user interface designboth the live product and upcoming expansions

Provide artwork to support team-wide project communication and vision

Communicate designs in a technical manner for programmer implementation

Electronic Design Engineer

(Hardware & Firmware engineer)

Responsibilities:

Independently analyze, evaluates and applies standard embedded hardware and firmware design and development standards and practices and applies it to design and develop a medical device/product or enhance an existing one.

Design and develop an optimal code in C to control and monitor device/product functions including error checking and reporting.

Generate complete, concise documentation in order that design may be correctly and accurately fabricated by vendors, received by incoming inspection, and assembled by production personnel.

Create clear, concise firmware/software documentation, including design specifications, detail design, code related documents, and tests plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A degree in Electronics or electrical engineering or Masters degree in related discipline of software/firmware development with emphasis on embedded system and medical devices

3 to 5 years of experience in electronic circuit design both analog and digital for medical device as well as writing embedded firmware/software for them

Ability to analyze physical systems and apply engineering knowledge of Electronics design principles and functions in creating specifying product design, drawings and software/firmware codes.

Ability to generate clear, complete, concise design documentation including design specifications, fabrication and assembly drawings, in order that design may be correctly and accurately fabricated by vendors, received by incoming inspection, and assembled by production personnel.

Preferred Experience

Knowledge and experience of popular Computer Aided Design Software for the electronic industry

Knowledge and experience of Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for development and debugging of Microchip software/firmware

Software Engineer

(iOS - Objective C programmer)

We are seeking for experienced iOS Developer who can help us research, design, development and deployment of awesome mobile applications for the iPhone and iPad for various ongoing projects for our clients in the medical and consumer market.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deploy iOS based applications using Objective-C/Cocoa and C++/ Cocoa Touch

Work collaboratively or in isolation as the situation demands.

Design, develop and test complete applications

Interface with remote and distributed data sources and APIs

Troubleshoot, optimize and performance tune.

Work closely with the Product and UI designer and the rest of the team, to continually improve the development process and the product quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Has 3+ years experience as a software design engineer through all phases of the software development lifecycles, or can demonstrate equivalent proficiency

Fluency with Xcode / Interface Builder and Cocoa Touch, with understanding of Objective-C blocks as well as IOS SDK / SDK Frameworks

Background in developing high performance applications that must function in mission critical environments.

As a developer, manufacturer and worldwide distributor of medical equipment and services, we require a careful and conscientious individual to take prime responsibility for on-going compliance to national and international safety standard across a specific range of medical products.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to all aspects of Medical Device product standard compliance engineering on a number of complex, high performance hardware and software projects

Work with minimal supervision and become fully conversant with all of the standards that apply to our products

Help and guide the other development engineers in the team to ensure products meet the requirements and liaise with external test houses to review and document compliance

Review proposed engineering changes to products to ensure that safety and compliance is maintained.

This is a challenging compliance Engineer role with a high level of responsibility and is a core position with a vibrant R&D team located in Taiwan

Required Skills and Qualifications:
