OUR STORY

• Our fashion trading experience started in 1985 in

Venezuela, by then, the largest market in Latin

America. Calypso specialized in wholesales, imports

and sales of branded garments worldwide. Also,

operated successfully

• a few multi-branded retail shops that stated great

records for many years.

• Calypso Imported from Panama garments for Men,

Kids, and Women, maintained the vanguard of

women fashion by working and importing directly

from Los Angeles and, in addition, Calypso

manufactured special designs for Men and Women

in China and India. By then, we became one of the

main suppliers for big clothing stores within Latin

America like Beco, Graffiti, Gina, Casablanca,

among others.

• By that time, we were also the main client buying

Tommy Hilfiger's stocks and of season's in Amsterdam,

Holland, for Latin America. In 1995,Calypso became

a franchisee for Original Marines in Latin America and

opened its first retail shop in Caracas. Successful

operation and great results lead us to go further with

fashion retail trading in cooperation with high

standard brands

Regarding the emerging market within the Middle

East in the last few years, the company settled its

goals within the region. Soon enough we had

strong links with a company operating regionally in

the Middle East and Africa all together. In 2008,we

entered the Emirati Market, dealing in garments

wholesales, supplying big retailers and exporting

goods to Latin America.

Based on the long experience in fashion trading

we decided to introduce a few of the best

European brands to the UAE Market, picking the

most respectful reliable and professional brands as

per our selection. Today Calypso Garment Trading LLC is an

exclusive master franchisee of an Italian Kids

apparel brand- Original Marines, and a few

brands for men and women from Europe-Blend,

B.Young,and lchi already in the United Arab

Emirates. Having the future plan to keep opening stores

and expanding its branches within the country,

Calypso is proud to have grown to its point now

and to have the consistency and strength to keep

on growing by keeping its professionalism and

high international standards.

BUSINESS PROFILE

• Our first Original Marines shop in UAE

opened in 2013 in Arabian Centre,

showing a great sales record from the

day one with big list of loyal

customers today.

2014 B.young/Blend store opened in

Arabian Centre. This stunning Danish

brands created a grate name within

the Mall , promising big future for us as

an operator without any doubts today

in the quality, prices and principals

support.

In 2014 Original Marines shop opened in

Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. Growing on daily

basis together with the Mall

development.

- In August 2015 we are opening 2

shops in Dubai Outlet Mall – Original

Marines and B.young. Fit-out works

are currently in progress

These shops are planned to increase

the company turnover by moving all

the items left from the seasons and

collections of our current shops ,

which will make our cash flow much

stronger and will help to rotate the

money and invest in the new shops.

- Another 2 shops booked in Marina

Mall, Abu Dhabi (Original Marines

and B.young) in the extension part

and will open by end of 2016.

HIGHLIGHTS

opened 2015 with a

brand new

layout for their stores and announces the

renewal of some sixty shops. With the

same format during the year will open

another 15 stores, in Italy and abroad, for

an investment of over 5 million euro.

The furnishings of the new concept,

designed by Conrotto, are characterized

by soft colors and elegant, white and

wood, with regular geometric shapes

and adaptable, designed to give

dynamism to the spacious and roomy

shelves.

It is a layout-free "physical barriers", like

the previous one, as pointed out by the

company, but revised by a more careful

study of the environment, with the aim to

help customers navigate the offer of

more than 600 products made in every

season.

a byword for clothing but is also a
