Auditing

Our auditing services provide our clients with independent third party assessment of their suppliers and quality management system. This service can be tailored to comply with any standard which our client requires. Capability assessments are conducted to ensure that suppliers meet our clients procurement requirements and are conducted using qualified and certified auditors. We have many years’ experience of conducting API audits.

Source Inspection

Field Inspection visit client’s supplier facilities to oversee inspection and tests, review of special processes, verify measurements and test results, and assess workmanship. Oscar Reliance personnel are available for day visit or resident assignments. Detailed reports are promptly forwarded to the client Oscar Reliance uniquely qualified technical specialists are strategically located to provide effective, cost efficient services to clients.

Tubular Inspection

Oscar Reliance engineers, inspector and technical specialists have worked with API since its inspection in the development of API Standards. Oscar Reliance experience with double submerged arc welded, electric resistance welded and seamless pipe as well oil country goods and their threads and its inspection of plate, pipe and tubular products for complete to specifications, is second to none. Inspection services also cover pipe and tubing to ANSI, ASME and ASTM specification.

Painting and Coating Inspection

Quality Control during application anti-corrosion coating for structural steel, pipe and other equipment is essential to achieve proper corrosion protection. Experienced personnel ensure that application of the required protection material conforms to the governing standard. Regardless of the material or the coating/painting process. Oscar Reliance is able to assist.

Civil ,Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument and other types of engineers, supervisor, inspector’s and technical specialists are available for assignment at construction sites as residents or, on a monitoring basis to ensure that all aspects of the construction, are managed and conducted in accordance with the client’s requirements.

Offshore and Marine Inspection

The complex nature of offshore and marine industry equipment requires precise and accurate inspection to provide the necessary assurance of reliability and conformity to regulations. Oscar Reliance has been involved offshore inspection and related services during the fabrication of equipment and structures fabricated.

Expediting

Knowledgeable expeditors visit client/supplier facilities to ensure compliance to established schedules. The expeditor oversees timely placement of purchase orders for material and subcontracts, to ensure that material are received and placed in production as planned that the progress of manufacturing test, assembly and related activities are such that the required delivery date will be met.

Oscar Reliance provides inspection to check the packing and marling of shipment to ensure compliance with the client’s purchase order requirements. Codes Standards Oscar Reliance Sdn Bhd performs examinations and inspections in accordance with our associate’s own rules, regulations or internationally accepted standards and codes such as ASME,ANSI, API, AWS, BS, DIN, etc.

The company has at its disposal an in-house technical library, which is regularly updated with the latest technical development or revisions of the codes and standards of the goveming body.

Standards and codes, which are not available in-house, are obtained from SIRIM library.

Computer Facilities At Oscar Reliance we maintain an extensive range of software, including process simulations software, vessel and tank design packages, pipe stress analysis, structural analysis, 3D PDMS and BOCAD and latest AutoCad drafting packages. Specialist packages and modules are mounted on state-of-the-art hardware platforms which are all hooked up to LAN for optimisation of work.

For plant design, we are experienced in 3D PDMS for equipment and piping design and BOCAD for structural and substructures design. We are the first user of PDMS that have integrated BOCAD files into PDMS environment for clash check thru use of special protocol .We also use autoplant packages for 2D piping work which includes CADPIPE, PROPIPE AND PROISO.

Our CAD capability includes the flexibility to adopt clients standard and system and provide customisation where necessary to come up with the best design solution that will optimise project cost and schedule.
