I am writing to you to express my interest in Process Engineer position which is currently advertised on the website www.careerbuilder.vn.
I am currently employed by an EPC contractor as a Process Engineer for brownfield projects but I am keen to pursue a career in Chemical Industry which is more suitable with my educational background and skills.
I came to you with a firm background in Process Engineering. As you will notice on the attached CV, I graduated in Chemical Engineering from a Romanian university with Vietnamese state-budget scholarship. At University I gained considerable experience working on engineering projects, so I am familiar with process development techniques. After graduation, I have 2 years working at Gas Processing Plant in the position of Process Engineer. During my time there, I had chance to improve my knowledge in equipment operation, process debottlenecking, risk analysis and incidents investigation which are essential for engineers who are facing daily with manufacturing plants. At my current job position, I have finished 2 engineering projects with high appreciation from my leaders and seniors. In addition to my responsibilities as Process Engineer, I also developed my skills in project and time management which help me deliver the projects within schedule and planned budget.
As working in a fast growing industry, I am able to work well under pressure and I also enjoy working in a team with people from various departments and companies. For professional software, I am an experienced user of chemical simulators (Hysys, Pro II). In addition, I am able to speak English fluently.
With mentioned experience and skills, I believe that I should be a good fit for the position of Process Engineer at your company. In that regard, I would welcome the opportunity to discuss further details about my qualification for this position.
