SPRING 2010 SEASON
Coyote Cavern Productions Presents
t was Wednesday, January 7, 2004. A brand new year and a brand new school. Seven brave seven-year-olds entered the multi-purpose room to audition for “Annie,” the first ever Coyote Cavern Production. These seven-year-olds didn’t
know what to expect, and, frankly, neither did I.
Looking back at the photos from that year reminds me of just how young the participants were. Through the years they have grown and developed into seasoned professionals. Who could ever forget Steven Dreifuss as the “Star-to-be” or Austin Urie as Rooster Hannigan delivering the line, “Pardon me, Toots!” in “Annie”? Or Andrew Patterson as “Toto” and Emma Birdseye as the little pig stuck in the cyclone in “The Wizard of Oz”? Or Henry Gardner as “Horace” and Adam Tammariello as “Rudolph” in “Hello, Dolly!”? Or the beautiful dancing of Gabby Esquivel? The moment I will cherish forever is Gabby pulling on my sleeve after “Annie” closed. I bent down to her and she said, “Thank you, Mrs. Gardner. I loved this!”
So, thank you, Steven, Austin, Andrew, Emma, Henry, Adam and Gabby for your bravery and faith. And to all the graduating eighth-graders who have participated in this program through the years, “Thank you. I loved this!” – Katie Gardner

We would like to thank all of the people who have put in countless hours to make our show a success. We are humbled and grateful for the extraordinary support of the parents here at Calavera Hills schools.
To all of you who have sewn, hammered, painted, hauled set pieces, worked backstage, sold tickets and provided baked goods, thank you! Thank you, also, to Leslie Harden, Mr. Mac and the staff at Calavera Hills Elemen-tary School.
Finally, I would like to thank those parents who have been with this program since the beginning and whose children are now moving on to high school. Your dedication and talent in shaping the ethos and substance of Coyote Cavern Productions will not be forgotten. You and your children have built a legacy of which we can all be proud.
We hope you enjoy the show!
