This early universe was extremely small, dense and hot.

From light beams all matter was created.

the inner solar system and formed

Complex carbon molecules and amino acids located in space provided the building blocks for life. The universe provides the raw materials to manufacture the DNA molecule, the blueprint for life. Through mutation, plant species inhabited the earth.

And God said…

Concentrations of matter condensed

together and formed stars.

Stars collected together to form

galaxies.

The Sun is an example of a larger star.

Exploding stars, mixed with nebular

gases and dust, condensed and formed

planets.

The most common hypothesis is that life

began approximately 3.5 billion years ago

as a result of a complex sequence of

chemical reactions in the universe.

Another theory is that meteors crashing

into the earth brought with them the

necessary ingredients for life.

Life began as simple celled organisms such

as bacteria.

And God Said...

3.6 Billion years ago- simple cells

1 billion years ago –multicellular organisms

570 million years ago- arthropods

500 million years ago- fish

300 million years ago- reptiles

200 million years ago- mammals

Then God said:

“Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness.”

Some key points:

• Creation belongs to God

• All of Creation is “good”

• All of Creation is “blessed” by God

• God grants “radah” – that is compassionate kingly rule.

• The Scriptures points to radah through the Old Testament

• Human “radah” over the earth carries enormous responsibility
